DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS CAMP. My 10 year old daughter was Sexually Assaulted by another child at this camp. The camp takes NO responsibility for supervision. They take in DCF children with severe behavioral issues and then do NOTHING to protect your children from these predators. I hope no one ever has to go through what we have been dealing with over this. Our daughter is now in 20 weeks of intensive sexual assault therapy. DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS. The camp has only worked to cover up this incident, try to tell us our daughter caused this to happen to her and refuses to give us any information like their policies and procedures. DO NOT USE THIS CAMP!!

This is our children’s 2nd summer back. They seem to enjoy it, however I recently noticed that it could be a LOT cleaner. The bathrooms were pretty gross and the nurses office smelled like mold… I’m not sure if they lack the funding, but it definitely needs to be cleaned and updated… Also , they can do better on the food they're giving the kids. The children are not allowed to have their own snacks, however the Counselors are allowed to eat their personal snacks in front of the children... Also, I noticed there was a few children with disabilities that did not have the proper supervision. There was one child that was running around naked and the poor Counselors tried their best to handle the situation. Other than that the kids seem to like it and the group of Counselors seem to be good with the children, however I am not too sure that they will be returning.

I found out my kids counselor was being paid about $2/hour when it all went down. No wonder they don't get the best employees. Sad! Last week my daughter saw one camper choke another camper, they will not be going back.

The staff in the office as well as the director are not helpful at all! Quite rude. There is a lack of empathy is insane! The cost is relatively cheap...but it's not worth the hassle and jumping through hoops. I would not recommend this camp to anyone. And it's sad to say this. But it's the truth. My child was taken off the list, I was not told about it until I was dropping my child off. I got the runaround and no help. When I asked why he was taken off the list I was given a huge attitude and was told "there's nothing we can do" and walked away from my son and me. Now I am lost in what to do as I do not have anyone to watch my son while I work. I am a single mom and am left stranded by their mistake. My child will never go there again!

There has been a lot of changes to the camp and the programs they provide. Be mindful and ask a lot of questions. The new Camp Director has no educational background in providing a quality camp program for kids, regardless of abilities. If your child has a special need, the program is not inclusive. The Camp lacks the ability and knowledge to provide a true camp experience. They lost a true Camp Director who fully understands what Summer Camp is about and how to hire competent staff. The camp is divided into a unregulated special needs camp and a traditional typically developing camp. The facilities for the typically developing kids is horrid and is completely overlooked in the drive to make money with special needs programming.

Holy****. I went here for a few days for school in 4th grade and it was the best ever! The counselors were the best and even though it was winter, we still felt like we were at camp!
