Just two weeks at Camp Birch Knoll and my shy daughter came home with a new found confidence and lifelong friends! The staff was wonderful and there was a fantastic & friendly group of campers. She cannot wait to go back.

I was a CBK camper many, many years ago. Back then, waterskiing was chronically understaffed, with girls sometimes spending the entire ski period waiting but never getting a turn. The rest of the activities were generally much better. CBK does a good job of encouraging girls to develop skills and the sense of independence that comes with accomplishment. However, their abilities to resolve serious camper conflicts was abysmal. Troublemakers, bullies, and poorly adjusted kids are not common, but they do happen. I watched entire cabins get turned into dens of misery due to just one bad egg. As an adult, I wonder if it was naïveté or greed that led to their refusal to send a kid home...sometimes, you have acknowledge that there are kids who have bigger problems than can be solved with archery, canoeing, and a pep talk. I do have some great memories, but ultimately it was never a consideration to send my own daughter there.

CBK is amazing! I loved most of the girls in my cabin and all the campers were great! I am definitely coming back! The counselors did not spend that much time with us, so that could use some improvement. Otherwise, I had an amazing time!

Birch Knoll is the most amazing place on earth. I am literally in love. You meet amazing people there and have the time of your life. Great activities, and the director is incredible!!! Whoever wrote those things about the letters they're SO not true, you can send as many letters as you want.

I went to CBK for 4 summers and they were the best of my life! I can't wait to send my own daughters there one day :)

THIS PLACE IS THE MOST AMAZING PLACE IN THE WORLD. AT CBK YOU CAN BE YOURSELF YOU CAN HAVE FUN AND MAKE NEW BEST FRIENDS WHO YOU CAN CALL YOUR SUMMER SISTERS. THERE ARE SO MANY FUN ACTIVITIES AND TRADITIONS AT CAMP. EVERYONE I KNOW WHO HAS GONE HAS BEEN IN LOVE WITH IT. IF I COULD GO FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE I WOULD BECAUSE IT IS LITERALLY THE BEST PLACE EVER. WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE IT BECAUSE ITS SO AMAZING. AND THATS BS THAT YOU CAN ONLY SEND ONE LETTER A WEEK OR THAT THEY CHECK. YOU CAN SEND AS MANY AS YOU WANT. IF YOU COULD ONLY SEND ONE A WEEK, THEN WHY DO PARENTS GET 15+ ? U R SO WRONG AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE SAID THOSE THINGS ABOUT IT... I LOVE CBK

this was horbile i wnet there for 2 years and they were absoulutly hroble. first it has a suckyt website hard to find info dont let you send letters back home only 1 per week and they check your ketters to see if u wrote something bad about the camp and give you ones they made that sya dear mom and dad camp is great!hate it!

I love love love Camp Birch Knoll. Seriously, this camp rocks. There are a variety of activites to choose from, and every night theres a fun event, including the famous sheet slide! If you're 8th grade and above, you can choose to stay on the island (only available for one week courses), which is loads and loads of fun! Overall, I love CBK!
