1/30/13   5     5     5     5     5   Amazing summer experience! Children can't wait to go back next summer. It's a day camp with the feeling of an overnight camp. Great communication between camp and home - called the office and often the camp owner answers the phone herself. Many staff are teachers during the year and really have a passion for working with children. A little expensive because it's a private camp but knowing we're trusting our children with a professional program that has been around since 1946 makes it well worth it. Activities are what I remember as a kid growing up at an overnight camp - unlike other day camps Robin Hood really feels like a camp experience! RID: 43534

Click to report rating    2/11/10   1     3     2     1     1   the children are often neglected. The staff treat the children well when the parents are around but it's a different story when they are not. There is a lot of sitting around and wasted time in the middle of the days. Just ask the kids not the staff about what they think about the camp. RID: 32150

Click to report rating    4/24/08   5     5     5     4     5   I think that Camp robin hood is a really great camp. I've been going to camp rh for 5 years and i've loves everything. From the counselors to the activities, robin hood is great for children ages 2 to.... well until they're done being a counselor and all. RID: 22562
Click to report rating    10/9/07   2     3     3     3     2   i want to this camp with the school for a grade 8 trip today, my teacher used to work there. i guess it was okay, not the best place I've been to (trenton was much better). RID: 16061

Click to report rating    9/1/07   5     5     5     5     5   My kids have been going to Robin Hood for 7 summers now and they look forward to returning every year. The staff and the facility are top notch, the activities are terrific, the owners are on top of things, I cannot say enough good things about this summer camp. RID: 14785
Click to report rating    8/26/07   5     4     5     5     4   I am a past staff member of this camp and I can only say great things about it. It get's better every year and there is a reason why this camp has so many returning members each year. If your looking for high tech, super new facilities this is not your camp, but if you value what camping is all about then this is the one. Great friendships, memories and values are established here and camp traditions are what this camp in all about. It is one big family. Highly recommend!!! RID: 14493
Click to report rating    8/5/07   5     4     2     5     2   The camp is not worth the money! That is it! The staff are great, the busing is well organised but overall the camp wastes a lot of time. If it rains, you do nothing at all(beads, cards...)! For the money people pay for this camp you can send kids to much better camps with more long term vaule! RID: 13645
Click to report rating    6/19/07   1     1     1     1     1   the music was very cheesy, the activities are quite boring, and the canoeing "river" really sucks RID: 12217
Click to report rating    6/8/07   5     1     2     4     1   i really dont like this camp and i dont understand why so many kids go there and so many keep coming back! although i must say that the "sports academy" program was well planned and much better then the regular camp but still not up to its full potential. RID: 11719
Click to report rating    11/23/06   3     2     2     1     3   I... have some of my worst memories from this camp... Maybe it has changed since I have been there (About 7 years ago) but that experience has traumatized me for life and lowered my self-esteem drastically. Maybe it was just the cabin I got stuck with, I dunno really. But anyways, I was about 7 when it happened, Camp Robin Hood was my first day-camp ever, I was so excited. So I got there, and immediately the other girls started cold-shouldering me. They made fun of me and taunted me, making sure I had next to no friends. I couldn't even tell the counsellors because I was afraid they would mock me too... The one thing that keeps replaying in my head over and over again is this one line, "It was better before you came here." But this was just my experience, maybe it's better now. But I'll never go again... RID: 5256
Click to report rating    10/5/06   5     4     5     5     4   love this camp!!! I love the seniors - we are the best - the colour wars is awsome - I love archery and options. Flag pole is so much fun. Swimming is great - except on cold days. I want to go to Camp Robin Hood forever! RID: 3770
Click to report rating    10/5/06   5     5     5     5     5   i worked here as a staff member and it was great, the directors treat the staff amazingly compared to many other camps i have worked at and it was lots of fun to what a great learning experience it was to work for a family...they truly made me feel a part of it RID: 3746
Click to report rating    10/3/06   3     2     3     2     3   I used to go to Robin Hood when i was little... I mean, 8:00 - 5:00 hours, with a freezing pool and hardly any fun stuff... nuh uh. my sister worked there for a while. got the stupid "dream keeps on dreaming ages long" song stuck in my head... but it was fun for when i was small and cute :-) RID: 3676
