CLS is the best place on earth. IDK what place those other reviewers were talking about but they obviously haven't been to THE camp lone star that this listing is actually about. When you go your life is changed.

I don't know who wrote the previous reviews, but my experience at camp lone star for the past ten years has been COMPLETELY different. I have attended Camp Lone Star every summer since I was eight. I cannot really put into words what this camp has meant to me and how much it has impacted my life. I can attest from experience that the staff are so intentional and truly love and invest in every one of the campers. Camp Lone Star is more than just a summer camp. It's where truth was first spoken into my life, and where I found freedom in Christ. The one word that comes to my mind when I think of camp is "freedom". You can see it in the staff and campers, how they overflow with joy and a freedom that comes with abiding in Christ. I am sad that I have had my last summer at camp, and will be now headed to college, but the impact this camp and it's staff has had on my life is something that I will have with me forever.

This is a wonderful camp that focuses on Christ! The counselors are ssoo fun!

I don't go there anymore but i did when I was little and it was day camp but i missed my parents alot. I guess the activities were pretty fun but the cabins could be better.

Camp Lone Star is fun, but some times the staff treat you like you are a lot younger. The cabins aren't the best. This is a great Lutheran camp
