Perfect in every way! One of the few things in life that one can definitively call life-changing.

I first was introduced to Cottonwood Gulch in 1964. I went back each summer for years...as a camper, then staff. I can honestly say, Cottonwood Gulch was a life changing experience. The friendships I gained have been life long. The program and Base Camp is among the finest anywhere.

Cottonwood Gulch has given me one of the greatest experiences. Exploring the southwest, going hiking and rock-climbing, backpacking and making beautiful navaho art, it was all so wonderful. I did the 5 week girls expedition, the TT this year. As 8 unfamiliar girls from all over the US, we were pretty awkward with each-other. At the end however, we were a tightly knit group, and had a really hard time parting. Cottonwood Gulch has been amazing and anyone who goes will throughly enjoy it. I promise.

I was a camper 40 years ago at the Gulch. I returned this summer to remember what a quality time I had there. It is a fantastic place to learn about yourself, others, nature, Indian culture, history and more. Most importantly, it is a very fun place to be! I have great memories from being a camper for 2 summers, and I am grateful for the experience.

This past summer I was on the T.T. at the Cottonwood Gulch Foundation. I was kindof skeptical when I first set out, but after five days, I knew that this was the place for me. I had an amazing experience this summer. The food was better than I could ever have hoped for, the staff were amazing, and I've made some wonderful friends. I'll never forget my experiences this past summer. We climbed mountains, had campfires together, celebrated Harry Potter--it was just an amazing experience. I almost miss being away from technology, and all the hustle and bustle of life. At the Gulch, I got to really find out who I was, and I can't wait to go back next year. If you're hesitant about going to the Gulch, just go for it. You won't be disapointed! (And you can always send letters back home!). I love the Gulch, and I hope this helps to convince someone to go to the Gulch!

Amaaazing camp. This summer will be my third back there. You just learn so much about the area and yourself and make amazing friends. It's accepting and thought-worthy and you visit the most gorgeous places. Check it out.

Best one out there. I went in 2005 for 2 weeks, and it was certainly a life changing experience. The staff at Cottonwood Gulch is excellent. Each camper is treated with upmost respect by the staff, which leads to good relationships between the staff and campers. My favorite part was the fact that you are around the same 15 or so people for 2 weeks straight. Everyone learns to get along and accept each other for who they are. You are surrounded by nature the whole time and upon arrival at base camp, it is required to turn in any and all electronic decices. You are isolated from society for 2 weeks straight which I thought was another great thing to experience. You never need to worry about what time it is or who is calling your cell phone. It is truly a relaxing 2 weeks. You get to see a lot of nature in and around the four-corners region of the Southwest. The 2 weeks spend at the Gulch were 2 of the best weeks I have ever spent doing anything. WCT '05 - Matt
