I'm raised Catholic and went through 20 years of Catholic education. I would have expected much more from this camp's leaders than what I had witnessed first hand. Let me put it this way: The world is full of people that have lost their common sense and leadership skills and let politics and hearsay run the show. Sadly, its pervasive in this camp.

This camp has some spring and fall weekends where it can be rented out and we had an amazing experience. The incredible views of the canyon and hawks were unforgettable. A firepit looks out sits near this open area and I would guess the stars are magnificent if you took advantage. These cabins were pleasant and were at one end of the camp near the large field.

I just finished another week at Camp Howard. I had the time of my life. I also won the Cougar Award which made my week. The counselors at Camp Howard are the best! I made some new friends and definitely plan to go back next summer!

Camp Howard has some good & Bad qualities. There are great activities and some nice staff but some bad things are you get a very rude awakening in the morning and on Thursday the 12th some counselors pulled an enormous prank on our cabin, they said "Old man Howard killed a cabin every Friday the 13th. When they pulled it (At 11:59 P.M.) we were screaming like bloody murder. Overall this is an ok camp.

jeez, my camp counselor was obssesed with Hilary Duff...plus my friend was crying the whole time...sorry not going there again

Camp Howard is so much fun! This past year I got the Cougar Award which is for the best camper(s) from each cabin. I was so excited that I got it.
