I can't say enough wonderful things about Camp Pemi! My son and nephews have all enjoyed this amazing experience. I love that they have something for everyone and celebrate all the wonderful things life has to offer from geology, music and arts to soccer, traditional sports and water sports. I wish I could spend my summers at Pemi!

My son went here for 2 years. His first year was a good experience, not amazing, but good. However, the second year was traumatic. His counselor was constantly mean to him: punishing, ridiculing, ignoring. He wrote home desperate letters but the director told me he checked on him and the counselor, and he was fine. This was incorrect. He was afraid to say anything. Upon pick-up the counselor himself told me Joseph had a hard time. (Why did the director not know? )Though he did not tell me it was because of his treatment. My son had gone to a different sleep away camp 2 years earlier with a positive experience. He is scared to go again. I would never give a bad review and have waited almost two years to post this one. I think it is important for people to know that a problem is not necessarily going to be addressed with the right attention. I wrote a long letter to the director. The only response I received was that he was sorry but everyone else, staff and campers, love this counselor

I didn't personally go here, but my brothers did and absolutely adored it. I went to a girls' camp down the road from Pemi and had a chance to spend some time at Pemi last summer and it is a stunningly gorgeous camp. They have an amazing waterfront and the lake all to themselves! There is a really wonderful atmosphere and the boys that go there are really smart and genuinely nice. The facilities are top notch, and the traditions are wonderful. As a kid, I would visit my brothers and say to my parents "is there a Pemi for girls?"

Pemi is one of the most amazing places in the world. Where you will have time of your life, and make friends that become like brothers whose love and memory you will have for life. I went to Pemi for 7-years and it is the place where i would spend my whole life i could. Pemi is a magical place that i will never forget. I love you Pemi!!

I've been there two years and its so much fun. The counselors are really nice. There are so many activities! Before I went, I hated nature and thought I would never like it, but I tried it and now I won an award for my butterfly collection! I learned so many things I haven't tried before like camping, water skiing, and hiking. Pemi is a great place for everyone. You can be great at sports or great at music or nature, but there is something for everyone there. Its a great place to try something new.

A great camp to spend your childhood. The type of place that geniunly cares about you. The directors are 3 guys who care about every single one of the campers. All of the programs are strong in their own way and are a wide variety from drama to sports to nature to arts. The Sports program is the strongest with the biggest emphasis on. Great Camp

It is fun if you like 7 fun-filled weeks in the white mountains with activities for every kind of person. It is the greatest.
