Try working for nature's classroom. Its ironic that they have the underground railroad activity because you are treated like a slave. You work 60 hours a week for what amounts to less than minimum wage.

When I went there with the other 6th graders from my school three years ago, we stayed in the brand new campsite, so the facilities were great. However, we hated the Ort Report and the whole measuring waste thing at meals. It was gross. Also, we were treated like little first graders half the time, despite the fact that we were 11 and 12 years old. If you're looking for a nature education camp, I would definitely not recommend Nature's Classroom. Most of the activities weren't even related to nature or the environment, like making water balloon bouncy balls, or making geodomes out of gumdrops and toothpicks.

I didn't like it. The showers smell like eggs for hours after someone takes a shower. The furniture and rooms are not in good condition and I got food poisoning there. However, the activities were really fun and thats the thing i enjoyed

food and living space sucked. dirty gross. the activities were sometimes fun. the staff was so mean, it seemed like they hated kids.

The food was ok, the activites were cool, we got to pick our own, we went in the wintertime so the cabins were stuffy but warm. The furniture really was in terrible condition and so were the mattrises. It was...no comment.
