There is no camp that could better!!! The activities are amazing, traditional sports and also things like horseback riding and many water sports in both of the beautiful lakes on the camp property. The years I spent as a camper from age 8, all the way through a counselor are a big part of my childhood memories that I cherish. My daughter will attend for her 3rd summer, my son is excited to go for his first. Only complaint I have is that now I'm too old to go back for one more summer. If you're looking for a true summer camp experience this is the right place. Not too fancy, and not too laid back either. The perfect environment for growing up and learning a little independence.

OMG!!! THIS IS THE BEST CAMP IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!! this coming summer will be my 3rd summer at CPW and i am loving it. last summer, we won color war!! ninja green chop chop chop!! lol well yea this camp is the best camp ever and i would never go to any other camp. i hope that CPW is open when i have kids and they get 2 the age when they can go 2 sleepaway camp so i can send them there!! my brother will be going 4 is 2nd summer this coming summer and he is overly excited!! well nighttime is always very fun in the cabin w/ the sugar and friends and flashlights and yea. activities r fun and the meals r good i guess. staff is nice and cabins r relatively clean...until we mess them up. lol well thts basically all i have 2 say about CPW!! bestest camp evr!!! yea so bye :)

My first summer at Pinewood was merely okay, I made a friend and wanted to return for her sake only. My second was disasterous. First, I had been placed in a cabin with eight other girls who had all been there for the first session (I was a second session camper) and who had known each other for years. There were a few others who were also second-sessioners; however, they owned more articles of clothing from Abercrombie and Fitch and fit in better. The campers are fickle adolescents and not the type of kids you would want your child to be friends with. The staff play favorites and only give half-hearted attempts to fix things when there is a camper they are not close with who is in need. If you have a child who is the slightest bit unusual, send them to an art camp where creativity flourishes and differences are encouraged. Also, the Directors are insensitive and unhelpful when dealing with homesickness, as they are reluctant to let campers talk to parents.

I absolutely loved Camp Pinewood. I went this year for the first time and they made me feel welcome. Although I was homesick a lot the counslers helped me through the tough time. Personally I am not a big fan of the the socials although my friends liked it a lot and I wish they were shorter in time length. I enjoyed this camp and hope to go back this year.

I miss going their and plus I miss everyone. I did not lyk the activites and the food but I miss all my friends from the world. I made a great friends and I still talk to them to this day. I love CPW and the rest of the crew. WHoever dis called the worst camp in the world I dont think it is.. It rocked my world even though I havent been their in a couple years. CPW rocks my socks off. The photos are really amazing when I look at these wonderful people. I love cpw!! xoxoxoxoxox CPW love forever! Becca Kirtman RIP also that went to cpw with all the joy and the love of her too. personally, I didn't like this camp at all, I did not have a good time, and I waited untill the day I went home. It's a better camp if you have been going there for a long time and know many people. I found it extreamly clique-ish and with many generally mean campers.
