Woodmont is AMAZING!! I was in the teen program this year, for my 7th summer, and it really is my summer home. The counselors are amazing (and Kathleen, the leader of the teen program, is literally the kindest person on the planet) and I always felt super comfortable at Woodmont from the day I started when I was 6. I would highly recommend sending your child to Woodmont, no matter what age they are! If you’re worried that your young child won’t get cared for properly, you have nothing to worry about, because Sam, Illesha, and all the counselors do an amazing job. I will definitely be returning next summer, and the summer following that as a CIT. Woodmont is truly a special place.

My daughter Lily is about to start her 12th summer at Woodmont. My son Ben is starting his 10th summer at Woodmont. They have grown up here and have made life long friendships. The counselors have been amazing, some of whom we still keep in touch with. My kids truly think of Woodmont as their 2nd family. Hard to believe Lily will be a CIT this summer!! Sam and Alicia are wonderful and I would highly recommend Woodmont.

Ok I went to Woodmont when I was younger. Now, I don't know if I would like it as much as I did, so if you're going to go, it would be best if your kid is under 10. (I'm 11 and now I go to sleepaway). The staff was okay, I mean, some counselers were amazing, but I didn't like some. But Sam and Ilisha are great. The facilities were amazing. The activities are okay. The thing I didn't like about them was that you had to do what was on the scheduelle. You can't follow your interests, but the activities that I liked were good, and I loved the special events. I thought the personal attention was fine, and I wouldn't find it an expensive camp. So, overall, this camp is better for younger kids, I'd say.

This is my daughter's 3rd year at Woodmont and she absolutely loves it!! The owners are very accessible and hands-on. Additionally, the grounds are absolutely Beautiful and they have a large choice of the activities for the kids. Totally recommend Woodmont!!

Run like a well oiled machine. Safe, clean and tons of fun. Very attentive owners and staff. Both of my children are attending this year and both are having the best summer of their young lives. Best Day Camp in Rockland County, NY.

My two children have spent the last 3 summers at Woodmont. The camp is extremely well run, safe, and has a dynamic program. If I ever have any concerns the owners are a phone call away!

My son had an INCREDIBLE summer at Woodmont! They truly have a staff that places the needs of the campers ahead of their own. Activities were well structured, safe, and creative. Looking forward to next summer!

Our son went to camp this year and has had a wonderful time. He has only good things to say about his counselors, the activities and the food. Of all the Rockland camps we visited, Woodmont was the most beautiful and removed from suburban sprawl, plus relatively close to NYC. The camp staff has been consistently warm and responsive to our concerns. There seems to be a lot of positive energy and genuine caring feeling at Woodmont. We will be signing up for next year!

My kids LOVE this camp and have so much funny every day. The staff is very attentive and the day is jam packed with fun! They are so thrilled to go every day!

I'm very satisfied with the camp my 3 children have attended for 3 yrs. They have had wonderful experiences they would have otherwise missed out on. The staff called me everyday the first week to discuss the kids activities. The owners and staff strive to make the kids and there families happy and comfortable. The food is great, many activities, very safe. The negative reviews are obviously from disgruntled employees that don't know any better...Rules are there for everyone's safety they are not stupid.

Candy Mountain was so much better. The pay for counselors was horrible and there were ridiculous rules. One of my campers was horrible and nothing could be done about it because his parents were "friends with Sam and Ilisha". Food was horrible and much more limited choices. Not coming back, bad experience.

THe camp was awesome!! It was the best summer of my life. I made tons of friends even though I was scared about going to the camp. Everybody should go here!!

After 3 summers at a previous camp this was my daughter’s first experience at Woodmont. She absolutely loved it! The program was terrific, the staff were incredible. She came home singing camp songs and couldn’t wait for the next day. She will definitely be back next summer.

This was my sixth summer at this camp, previously Candy Mountain, now Woodmont. The rules made sense and were in place to protect us. The counselors were great and there was so much more that we could do that was safe. My most favorite thing to do was to group games and activities. Sam and Ilisha were both going aound to all the groups and talking to them and making sure everyone was OK and having fun. My best memory was being outside playing soccer against the boys and winning! This was one of the best years at camp that I've had yet. I'm looking forward to my next year in Woodmont.

This was my daughter's first summer at Woodmont. She had a great time & enjoyed all the activities. She made alot of great friends. She also enjoyed the food. The faculty was very nice & always responded to all my calls. I would send my daughter back again.

This was my first summer working at Woodmont. I was very disatisfied. The facilities are poor and not updated. The pay is herrific. Many of my peers were irresponsible. I would think twice before sending my children there.

Kids play in hot dirt field.Supervision is poor.Wandering by themselves. I wonder if they lose people.I think it's a joke. Awful.
