My daughter had the BEST time at Windridge and cried about coming home. She is still sad and she has been home almost a week! The people are everything at Windridge. Great staff, meaningful lessons and fun activities make this a GREAT camp for kids.

This was our kids' first experience with sleepaway camp, and they had a fabulous time. The staff are kind and caring. Our kids are avid tennis players and they thought the tennis instruction was great. They loved the variety of sports offered and being able to choose different electives. Tons of fun activities daily and in the evenings. They can't wait to go back!

We can't say enough great things about Windridge! Our son thrives and can't wait to go back each year. As a parent there was nothing better than when he returned for his second year and the staff recognized him right away / no name tag. They really care and get to know the kids!!

This camp was alright, but not a good first impression to sleepaway. There weren't that many activates when I got there. For example, the ropes course was out of service, so instead of finding another activity for us campers to do, we sort of had to sit there and play our own games. Don't get me wrong, it's sometimes a lot more exciting to play something just with my fellow campers, but they weren't really all that fun to hang out with. I didn't feel as though I could fit in with my bunkmates, as well as most of the other campers. Of course, it's not like I'm going to make friends with everyone there, but I found myself feeling lonely often. There were even some times where other campers were rude or mean to me, but those were pretty rare. At the tennis program, I felt as though I was never learning anything and I often found myself bored because it felt like no one was helping me improve. I am not the best tennis player, but I certainly didn't learn anything from the staff here.

all three of our kids have LOVED this camp. so much fun! the staff and counselors are top notch. facilities are excellent. the teela games were everyone's favorite.

We have had four children attend this camp over the last few years and each has had an amazing experience. Terrific staff and great activities that build camaraderie and lasting memories.

My 13 year old son went in as an average tennis player and came out with his skills remarkably improved! Powerful serve and great plays. This camp also does not allow electronics and they keep the kids occupied 100% of the time. Up early and to bed early. He came home appreciative, talkative and socially improved. His only complaint was that there wasn't enough food throughout the day. He was hungry all the time. He's going back again this summer.

I have had three boys attend Windridge for many years and all have had an outstanding experience. Great instruction and wonderful staff make it all worth while.

The ownership duo at this camp have some character issues. If it were not for the man running the camp this place could be a total failure.

I took two electives at this camp, so my schedule was crazy. First, I would like to say that I had such a good experience here it inspired me to attend multiple other camps in the future. The instruction was actually very helpful, and I felt I got better at both tennis and soccer while I attended this camp. They really worked the hell out of you here. Many of my cabinmates were homesick, and my RA didn't care much. Those girls were usually crying all of the time and made for a terrible sleep. Nobody judged me, or my cabin, at all. It's hard to see how people have bullying issues here. The counsellors were sometimes cruel towards campers, but it's hard to expect otherwise when they're stuck watching kids run around hitting each other over the head with tennis rackets. You got instant respect if you were a good athlete.

The cabins are so dusty and there are no bathrooms in the cabins! If you are homesick they do nothing!! IT WAS SO BAD.

i truly love this camp! the first year i had the time of my life and made lots of friends. I got really close with my counselours too. sadly most were not allowed to come back. My second year my 4 of my friends from the year before stopped being nice to me, but i still had fun! that too me shows what a great camp it was I improved alot in tennis and riding. the no pda rule is annoying, but u can easily get around it. the activities and such can get a little repetitive. I go session 1 and it gets a bad rep, but its really great! cant wait to come back for my final year! i miss and love everyone GO GREEN TEAM!

The barn was leaning like it was about to fall over, and some of the cabins have holes in the floor. The food was good, but sometimes we'd have week-old food. The tennis courts and ropes course were nice.....and the horses were ok, I guess. but they weren't always taken care of by the head staff very well. most of the kids said they didn't want to come back and there was some bully problems.. but it wasn't as bad as some places I've been..other than that though the camp was ok.. the bathrooms and dining hall were nice and the tennis palace with waterfountains out front were nice

I love windridge at Teela-Wooket :~))) this is my 2nd home. i'm glad my dad let me go back to camp. come on summer time!!!! btw, tennis staff - i made my high school varsity side. thanks for helping my 2nd serve and making me "punish" the short ball!

I've been at camp for 4 years now. The new chefs this summer made a huge difference! Food was great. Tennis, soccer and riding were also awesome as usual and my counselor from England was soooo cool. My favorite activities were Carnival, casino night and dance. cant wait for the 2010 summer! Yeah Teela! Go Red Team!

I LOVE WINDRIDGE....i met so many people they were all amazing and i love my counslers....BEST EVER! i miss them all so much the only downside were the bathrooms....at least the girl ones..i wouldnt kno bout the guy ones but the toilets were clogged(ppl learn to flush a toilet) and some of the showers would never get hot water but u found that out pretty quickly and learned which showers and toilets to use and which ones not to use.....the dances r always fun except for the counslers watching ur every move but when u get 2 kno them they dont rlly care they just shine the flashlight one u and thats it. Food wasnt that great but uhhh u can deal with it just bring ur own snacks......and definetly a water bottle and extra socks and underware. I miss every1 so much i cant wait to go back next year and see u all again....LOVE U ALL xoxox h

I've had four fabulous summers here and my sister had five. Tennis instruction is top rate and the counselors are the best ever. Bunks are very basic but as my mopm says, "...you can't judge a book by its cover." Can't wait to go back as a counselor when I'm old enough.

My son loves his tennis & soccer and my daughter is both a tennis & horseback riding enthusiast. The instruction is top quality, the food is now way better and the overall experience is excellent. My kids still rave about the wonderful activities and new friends that they have made over the summers.

I love this camp. Three great summers. I want to go back next year but due to time restraints I can't. I never did soccer, but I'm a good rider (3 and half foot) and the riding program is fun. The cross country course is really fun. You'll improve a lot at tennis. Don't be discouraged if you're in a low group. You'll get really good. Tournament play is fun. The counselors are amazing. The facilities are very... rugged. The bathrooms are gross and the food isn't exactly very good. But you'll make such great friends there. And evening activites are a blast.
