Great great camp! Outside and active with no electronics and caring counselors and staff. Kids swim daily with both lessons and free time. Wide variety of activities all closely supervised. Kids get to be kids all summer. My two have been attending camp for four years and won’t miss a day. They come home tired and happy. They beg to stay in aftercare rather than leave when camp ends. Director is great!

This is a pretty nice camp for the money. The senior counselors are all certified teachers. There isn't enough to do though; they spend a lot of time just hanging out. This is particularly a problem on very hot or rainy days. They take the kids inside, where it is crowded and loud and there is very little for them to do. After a few summers my kids just got tired of it and wanted to go somewhere else. Although most of the counselors are great, the woman who runs the camp is not a very kind or compassionate person. She really doesn't seem to like kids very much. She is very intimidating and the children are all afraid of her.

the camp was the best camp ive ever been to. when moved from clark to hillsboro i was pissed off that i coudnt go to featherbed lane.also went there for pre school to kindergarten

Yeah it really stunk! I didn't have any fun. I've seen some pretty bad camps but this one has to be the worst.

okok! this camp was a living nightmare. this kind of place is were you can get in to fights and then you get carried to the office. the staff is rude and careless. the juice that they make tastes like **** and you never get to do anything you want. you either play sports or act like wild animals digging through the grass. this camp is totally off my list and i don't want to ever see it again.
