The Pines has been a staple summer event for my youngest son for many years now. He initial went on a hardship scholarship; our family situation improved and we have sent him every summer since. He will be a senior this year and is very nostalgic that this will be his final summer at The Pines. I saw a definite strengthening of his character, deepening of his faith and rising of his self confidence every year that he goes. He had a brain tumor when he was around 4 and takes multiple medications several times daily. I can't tell you how good it has felt to send him somewhere not only capable of handling his special needs but that made him feel less "special" and just like a regular kid. He loves the food and he has made friends that last a lifetime. This is a wonderful camp and worth every penny.

This camp is AMAZING! I've been going since 2007 and it has been awesome! The staff is so friendly, the food is great and there are a TON of activities to keep you busy! The counselors will help you if you have any trouble and they help you in your faith as much as possible. Big Tuna the head director is like a big kid! He isn't afraid to play Ultimate or gaga in the pit it is just an AMAZING camp!

im sorry but this camp sucks. Theres nothing to do, theres no fun activities, the food is terrible, the cabins suck, and its tiny. I do not reccommend this camp at all. If your looking for an awesome summer experience, go to camp longhorn.

Wow, this was my 1st time going to the pines, and heck yeah i loved it! The staffs are amazing, i had Aqua and Prada and they are GOOD :D This summer im going again. Course...the cabins are not the best but who cares,i made such good friends in there and i can't wait to get back ^^

I had so much fun this summer at The Pines! My counselor GoGo was AWESOME! I loved to pick my own activities every day and we had spiritual night activity like singing and adoration! I learned a lot!

This camp is incredible. It doesn't have the incredible activities that other camps have (waterskying, paintball, etc) BUT! that's not important. This camp is truly somewhere special that you always feel welcome coming back to, where you can see people you saw last summer and pick right up where you left off, and where you get to know God and yourself. Truly Amazing!

It's a great camp, overall. Since my experience with the cousenlors at the time wasn't so great as I hoped -- you know, with the personal attention, I didn't have so much of a great experience.

I've been going to the pines for 5 years and ive never regretted going! It's always a great place to hang out with friends and learn aabout God!
