This camp is AMAZING! you learn so much in such little time! The counselors are like your best friend! And the people you meet here maybe the coolest people you will ever know! the food if like heaven on earth! its so good! I love CHEWONKI

I went on a wilderness trip for 3 weeks at Chewonki and this place is AMAZING. From the moment when I arrived, all the staff were so friendly, cheerful and they treat you like family. I was to be away from my home for 3 weeks but I didn't feel lonely at all because of the incredible support that the Chewonki staff has shown. Anyways, the food there is amazing, it was fresh, healthy and it tasted good. My trip leaders were awesome, very knowledgeable and entertaining. I miss that place so much!!

No one from Chewonki writes on this site because we want to keep it to ourselves, but I need to set the record straight. Chewonki is AMAZING. Noncompetitive and progressive camp that offers a range of activities. The staff are carefully selected, facilities are top notch (green camp), more affordable than the all sports camp, organic dining hall with food from farm, private lake, etc. etc. No jocks here, all other great boys that want a camp that will help turn them into great men, go to Chewonki. this camp stunk personialy I hated the counslours. and I think that no one should send their kids here i know a couple of other people that hated it here too.

I did a trip it was awesome do north woods canoe. i also did 1 week stuff for a few years prior to that.

ive been going to chewonki my whole life. my father went to camp chewonki as well as my uncles and my brother. i love everything about it.

I love this place! Yummy farm food, cool counselors, fun activities. The waterfront has lots of boats and a slide.

This camp is incredible. I have never met anyone there who i did not like. You cannot top this place.
