My kids have attended Breezemont for 3 years now and we could not be happier with the changes this summer. The staff is outstanding and my two campers' head counselors are great at communicating with me. Every day my son and daughter come home and are worn out from their activities (something called Gaga is their absolute favorite) and can't stop talking about how great camp is. I am thrilled with the new management and happy that my kids are having the time of their lives. On visiting day they did not even want to see me, they asked me to stay away. The only issue I've had is trying to convince my kids not to go back to camp for the campfires on Thursday nights.

My daughter's summer just started and I am very disappointed. Gordon promised a lot but delivers on very little. He promised the bus route from Chappaqua would be 30 to 40 minutes. It has been an hour and ten minutes every day. We live 5 miles from camp. Her group only has 6 campers in it. How is she supposed to have an exciting experience? She has come home bored, dirty, and bitten up every day. I called the Division Leader, but got to return phone call. After 2 days, Gordon called me back. I wanted to withdraw and send her to another camp. I was told sorry to late. It is such a shame. I have spoken to a few friends who decided to go there this summer. They are equally as frustrated and angry. The place looks great but is terribly run. I have no way of getting my money back, but my daughter is staying home with me for the rest of the summer. I feel bad writing this publicly, but I feel I have no choice.

My daughter has gone to Breezemont for the past 4 years and LOVED it! The swimming program is fantastic - when she started at Breezemont, she was 5 years old, and despite a couple of years of lessons under her belt, could not swim a stroke and would not put her face in the water. After 2 weeks, she could swim competently and by her second summer, she was diving (and now swims better than I do). The friends she made her first year made the transition to kindergarten much easier, and they remain some of her best friends, 4 years later. We've looked at overnight camps this year and many very highly rated camps could not measure up to the standard set by Breezemont, in terms of facilities, program or staff. When I first visited the camp, I wanted to go there myself, and I still feel the same way!

I am the mother of two, and we have loved Breezemont for a very long time. It is a beautiful place, with an amazing experienced staff. Your children will be extremely safe, and will have more fun than they can imagine. My kids can't wait for summer--swimming, sports, music, art, nature! It's everything a kid could want, with the safety that parents need. The price is also very fair, especially for an ACA accredited camp.

A beautiful facility with a lake---very much like the grounds of a sleepaway camp. Staff is attentive & experienced. Very comforting to have an experienced, trained adult in charge of each group.Wonderful lunches that are prepared at camp & a weekly barbecue. Swim program one of the best!My 3 children loved it & attended for many years.

Breezemont is the best. Sports are great and all day long and bbq every week. Boating, kayaking, capsizing, and archery is a blast. the best swimming instruction ever. Great counsellors. NO matter what your age- it is fun. Even junior camp is fun. I have been going here for 4 years.

Both of my daughters have been coming to Breezemont for four years & they LOVE IT! The counselors are great - my girls say the food (especially the weekly cook-out) is great. They love all their counselors & have made many best friends at Breezemont. I've been very impressed with the management & the office staff. We (& tons) of our friends - will keep sending our children & recommending it to others!

Whoever rated under me must be insane. I managed to be able to go here for 2 years...I only came back for the sake of seeing my friends again... NOTHING MORE. I truly despised Breezemont! They served us disgusting pizza and dog food turkey cubes for lunch, and there were so many disgusting leeches in the lake and no real sports instruction! The only good thing about breezemont was its overnight trip to Camp Taconic, where I definetely go now. There is no better place than taconic. See its reveiws, CHECK IT OUT!
