Camp is great and i will always love it there, but the schedule can get repetitive, and the staff can be sort of... fake. Other than that, however, camp is more my home than my real home! It is a must have experience for any girl (and the boys have Dudley(the "brother camp"in New York)!).

I can't even begin to explain my love for camp. The staff is fantastic and so is everything else. The way that Kiniya has a partly scheduled day brings order, and a more competitive, fun feel to the sports you play. LOVE LOVE LOVE ITTT <3

Camp Dudley at Kiniya is truely an amazing place. I have made numerous quality friendships at camp and I know I can always rely on my camp friends for help and support. The councilers and leaders are extrordinary. They are so positive and always looking to help each individual camper grow as a person. At Kiniya, there is a strong sense of spirit, family, and support. This is shown through the special activites such as hymn sing, all camp activities, and vespers. Kiniya is a place were I can go and truely be myself without worrying what people think of me. I love Kiniya and definatly would recoment for everyone to come because you cannot describe the specialty of this place until you actually come. Cannot wait until next summer :)

Camp Dudley @ Kiniya changed my life forever. I just finished my 5th summer there. Every year gets better than the one before. Theres a certain spirit that only kiniya possesses. Ive been to other camps, and none have given me such a sense of home. The activities range from horse riding, to archery, to soccer, to sailing. The scenery is amazing, the staff and leadership are so loving and supporitive, and i feel like kiniya has shaped my character, making me a better person then i ever have been. The motto "The Other Fellow First" is something that i will have by me for the rest of my life. <3

This camp changed my life in so many possitive ways. The leaders, staff, campers, cabins, foos, location, possitive atmosphere, activities and all, truely make this camp as amazing at it is. I dont know where i would be witthout it. Kiniya taught me life long lessons i will never forget. <3

Camp Kiniya has taught me life long lessons I will never forget. I wouldnt say its my home away from home because that is an understatement. It is my home. I could not live with out it. Dudley has brought great programs and traditions to its environment. Kiniya also has kept some of its own traditions. The leaders and staff are so supportive and the girls are like family. The few scheduled activities (which change every day) help build teamwork skills and bring a bit of competativness to its giving atmosphere. The free choice time balances out perfectly. Hymn sing is the most amazing thing ever! Sitting with your cabin mates and friends brings such joy! I love it!

Kiniya is more than a camp it is a sisterhood. There is never a dull moment at camp. I have been a camper for four years and look forward to returning in the leadership ranks in the summer of 2012. I have never had so much fun, met such truly amazing people, and been so in love before I began my Kiniya career. Hymn Sing, Kiwi Day, Mellowfest, Overnights are all things that make Kiniya a great camp but what makes Kiniya perfect is the people. There is no other place where you will fall in love the second you smell the pines. I am proud to say I am part of the Camp Dudley at Kiniya family I wear the logo proudly all year long and Im never shy to share my camper number with the world. Kiniya truly changed me, and for the better. If you are considering Kiniya stop researching right now, and send in your application, believe me, you won't regret it! 05446...forever<3

The camp is very focused on developing spirit and leadership growth, which was fun. The staff are nice, the facilities are beautiful (I love the stables, and they are being renovated, or so I've heard), personal attention is definitely high, and monetary value---this camp is priceless! But, the activities do get a little boring after a while, although there are very qualified instructors working at each activity. It gets a little a dry though when you have to do an activity that you don't particularly like every once in a while. I love it though, and it has awesome traditions. Dudley came along and enhanced it a ton.

I went to Kiniya before Dudley bought it and I attended the camp for six years. The scheduals totally ruined the camp and makes girls unable to establish a sense of independence. Also the older buildings are being replaced which takes away the "camp" touch and feel to the camp. Come to camp Brown Ledge where girls are accepted and free to grow and establish their independence.

ehh.... Don't get me wrong, it's a great camp. The people are awesome, the activities are great, and the whole experience is downright amazing. But it's kinda the same thing over and over again. I don't know how some people stay for a full summer. It's too repetitive. Also, last summer (2009) it wasn't very organized. They cut out a lot of things that they had in previous years.

I go to camp kiniya every summer. I have recently applied to be a counsler there. Many girls say that when camp Dudley bought it, it was forever ruined. I went there both before and after Dudley bought it, and there may have been some bad decisions, but in the long run, it has only helped kiniya stay open, and be a better camp. Because of Dudley, the facilites are becoming nicer and nicer with every coming year. It is my home in the summer, and in the winter, I cant help but miss it a ton. Any girl who gives up the kiniya experience is really missing out. Every girl should have this oppetunity. Camp kiniya is home, and home is where the heart is. They dont lie. My heart lies forever with Kiniya.

I came in 2006 as a camper when Dudley first bought the camp. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the staff and program is. Dudley is the best thing that ever happened to this camp and 2008, my first year as a Leader, will be it's best summer yet. The corn muffins are amazing, horseback riding program is unparalleled, and the atmosphere is energetic. I would recommend it to anyone! Kiniya, kiniya, kiniya's the place for me bum, bum, bum... whenever we go home again to see our dear old friends... mama, MAMA won't you send me back again bum bum bum...

I went to this camp 40 years ago for 4 years and still have very fond memories of my experiences there. I recently visited the camp and found it to be very much the same as I remembered; of course the faces were different but the spirit was the same and I was welcomed openly. All of the girls I spoke to were very happy to be there. I would more than recommend Kiniya to anyone. It was a blast then and it is still a quality wonderful place.

Camp Kiniya is my home. I'm an aide this summer for 3.5 weeks because I love it so much. It gives me experience in everything!
