Camp Tuckahoe is excellent for cubscouts. The pool is new and very clean, the dining hall is spacious and the "cubworld" buildings let kids use their imaginations (fort, castle, teepees). Staff (in 2011 anyway) are competent and entertaining too.

An amazing BSA camp that really helps the campers grow as Scouts and as people. The staff is well devoted, the buildings have been redone recently, the sites are always kept clean; the various cabins are great for experienced campers who don't wish to be pampered, and for new campers, to comfortably experience what an overnight camp in the woods is like. The camp offers service year-round, hosting spring and autumn camporees and events, and even the winter Klondike event, with the biggest part being the 2 months in the middle of summer, with campers staying a week at a time. Staff-performed shows involving songs and skits, camp themes with staff dressed and performing to get the campers in spirit, lots of stuff to do from the day you arrive until the day you leave. Tuckahoe is much like a home that everybody wants to return to after they leave.

A well ran Boy Scout camp located not too far from Gettysburg. Many of the building were recently redone.
