This camp is absolutely amazing. This summer will be my eight summer at camp and my first year on staff. It is the only place on earth where i truly feel at home. I have met some of my best friends here and have learned so many life lessons. Every staff member goes through a three summer training process and each one is absolutely incredible. It is honestly the highlight of my entire year. When I am at this camp, i turn into a better, more outgoing, more confident version of myself. Minikani made me more concerned about our world and more helpful, considerate, and caring towards other people. Thank you, thank you, thank you Camp Minikani for changing my life!!!

My 10 yo daughter just returned from a week of overnight camp at Minikani. She absolutely loved it. It seems like a dream camp. Lake activities, horses, ropes courses, chickens, every sport, and best of all, the most well-trained counselors and staff I've ever experienced at any camp in WI before. Both of our kids will be going next year and for many years to come!

I went to this camp last year, and I will say it was an experience to remember. I had a wonderful time and it is a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life. Everything was exceptional, the counselors were great, the food was amazing and it was an outstanding experience. -AH (age 11)

CAMP MINIKANI!!!!YOU CANT DESCRIBE HOW AMAZING IT IS!PEOPLE SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT IT ON HERE BUT NONE OF IT IS TRUE! MINICAMPERS ARE STUCK IN A PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM??!?!!NO!!!MY FIRST YEAR I DID MINICAMP,WE DID EVERYTHING ANYONE ELSE WOULD DO AT CAMP!!!CAMP IS THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH!!

Our experience at this camp has been absolutely wonderful. The staff are warm, enthusiastic, and made my kids fall in love with Minikani! They look forward to it all year long. The activities are creative, spirited, and engaging. The Minikani experience is truly amazing- your kids will have the time of their life!

This camp has really gone downhill. Not only do they fail to respond to emails, they forgot to give my child his prescription medications! The camp is geared towards making sure the young adult counselors enjoy themselves, not the campers. Avoid this camp!

full day minicamp is sadly, a big disapointment. they keep the kids holed up in a preschool room for 4-5 hrs every morning before they are allowed to go outside. the staff dosent even play w/them. they get snack, nap and lunch. afternoons are the only time they are allowed some activities. Im very angry and sad for my son. He was expecting so much more.

This camp was the worst I've ever attended. It was horrid. There was NO true camp experience. YOu want true camp? go to Manito-wish. Now THAT is a camp worth talking about!

I think this camp is not a real camp! At this camp you go with friends from your hometown and people that you know already! And that is not the real purpose of camp. And you can only go for like a week and that is not that much fun to go for just a week!

The girls were mean, the health care sucked, my counselor barely spoke english, when I had a 101 fever they refused to send me home. I will never go back there ever again.

i've been to other camps before, but none like this. it's the most amazing time of life when there. i feel at home, everyone is so nice, and amazing friends. the absolute best camp EVER!!! GO GU!

Good for the younger crowd, but if seeking a "real" camp experience, this might not be the ideal place to go. For one thing, kids are not encouraged to attend by themselves...the majority of campers request to have as many as two or three friends from hometown in their cabin!!! Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of camp??? Of making new friends and cultivating new relationships? What's more, this creates a clique-y envirnoment where the groups are already set in stone before the camp even starts. The camping "trips" are merely sleepovers in a tent, complete with all the luxuries of contemporary life and the convience of a bathroom a few yards away. Even the advanced level of camping--the "explorers"--drive in cars and, when hungry, stop at a local Pizza Hut. I have been to both Osoha and Manito-wish, and both of these camps bring Minikani to shame...at these camps, one receives a true camp/outdoors experience where campers meet friends from all around the world.
