This camp is very unique and magical. It is not a traditional summer camp with a lot of "stuff" like skiing on the lake with motorboats and water slides. This camp prides itself on teaching children how to live simply- living in the environment and using nature and surrounding for imaginative fun. They have a lot of wilderness activities like rock climbing and canoeing as well as simple activities like gardening and basket weaving. They are very inclusive of all the children there and make sure everyone feels like they fit in. Everyone who goes to this camp loves it and cannot wait to go back. Both my children now attend camp here and I was a previous camper. They offer Hante adventures away from camp as the campers gets older as an additional learning and growing experience. If you want your children to decompress in nature for a few weeks during the summer this camp is perfect!!!

Eagle's Nest Camp (ENC) is not just any summer camp - it is a unique, beautiful, magical, and very special place. I grew up going to Eagle's Nest and it played a vital role in my childhood development. At ENC, I gained valuable skills, my self-esteem soared, and I made life-long friends. Years later, my three children attended ENC and they, too, made beautiful memories and lasting friendships. When my children and I talk about camp we recall laughing with our cabin mates, weaving homemade baskets on the Front Porch, catching fireflies at dusk on the Athletic field, designing a costume for the musical, kneading homemade bread on the Back Porch, running through the woods during Capture the Flag, and listening to a soft guitar, cicadas, and bull frogs lulling us to sleep. I highly recommend ENC. It is a place where your child will be nurtured and respected. Your child will return home happy, self-confident, more responsible and mature. Guaranteed!

This camp is amazing! I just went for my 5th summer for two weeks and it was the best two weeks of my life!! The counselors are awesome and hilarious and caring! My cabin counselors were awesome! My cabin group was amazing! My activities were so much fun! My table family were awesome! At the end of the session, I didn't want to leave.... My favorite part of the camp is rock climbing and ultimate frisbee! My tribal group is the Wohelo. There are four tribes ( two girls and two boys tribes. We always play CTF and that's always a blast. The food is amazing!!! The kitchen staff gets all the vegetables and meat local and make everything from scratch. I'm a picky eater but I loved the food... On the last day, my cabin group would bear hug the girl who was leaving and we all cried so hard on the final night. Send your child here. It's the best place on earth. I loved the counselors and my cabin group. I'm planning to go back as a JC and even a counselor. ENC is my second home

Eagle's Nest has changed my life in so many ways. For one thing, it's given me the chance to really find my inner self, the part I had been lacking for so many years, showing out now more than ever. I've met so many new and interesting people that I probably would've never gotten to know. Friendships that will last me an entire lifetime have been built at this camp. I've learned to respect and endeavor the beauty of the mountains and the other landscape around. Plus, uh hello? Dolly's Dairy Bar? The staff is amazing and you're always able to relate to everyone. It's truly magical, and I advise everyone to give it a chance, because you will not be disappointed.

Most magical and life changing place in the world. You are met with warm smiles the second you go through the gate and they continue until the sad day you have to go home. I am now 27 and a Registered Nurse. I always look back fondly on my days at the Nest with memories of amazing people, an environmental education and DELICIOUS grub from the Whole Foods Kitchen!!!

I have gone to Eagles nest twice this will be my third time and I can't wait. Eagles nest is an amazing way of spending a small part of the summer. The counslers are wonderful and they have great activities. The camp also gives scholarships to some people who cant afford it.My oldest brother is going to be a junior counsler this year and went to The Eagles Nest Outdoor Academy and loved it. My mind is always thinking of the great friends, great memories, and the conection to nature that Eagles Nest gave me

my days at ENC are the best I have ever had. I love every moment of each year from age 9 to 15. I also attended the Outdoor Academy, a semester school run by the foundation, and honestly had the time of my life. Eagles Nest is a fantastic place that has changed me for the better.

One of the most special places to me. I can't tell you how much i love this camp. I've gone there since i was about 8 and plan on working there in a year when i'm old enough. Such an amazing, supportive, and overall glorious place for a child to be. Please I'm begging you send your children to the nest. They will come with the memory loving community that will stay with them for for the rest of their lives.

The best camp on earth...I have gone to Eagles Nest since I was 8. Naturally,I have developed a love for the camp. But, Eagles Nest is not your average camp. The amazing staff, the food, the activities make it flourish for myself. It is a place that I will always be able to cherish. Eagles Nest has been a constant place of happiness and joy that will always remain in my life. I will always know that I can go to 43 hart road and be happy. ENC is simply an amazing place!

I look back on ENC and only have fond memories. I think i lost about 10 pounds while i was there. It's a great way to get your kids healthy and in tune with nature. By far the most creative and unique summer camp in the south! I can't express how much this camp meant to me and hopefully kids in the future will be able to have the same experiences!

If you want your child to grow in independence and self-confidence while engaging in both traditional and highly creative camp activities, then Eagle's Nest is the place for you. I went there as a child but it has evolved into a magical place that is even better than what I experienced. My adult children went and my 10-year-old is ready to return for her second sessions. This camp offers both traditional and imaginative curriculum that guarantees a child will NEVER get bored. Weekend activities are as varied as the international staff that nurtures the campers. The whole food kitchen is a highlight as the food is AMAZING! Not your standard fare at all! Teens will love it because the camp offers eco-adventures around the world s an alternative to the traditional on-campus program. This place is WAY too much fun but safety of each camper is always top of mind for the staff.

My son has been attending Eagle's Nest since he was 9 year's old. His experiences have only been wonderful: the international staff, the excellent food, the organization and structure, the activities and skills he has developed - he considers Eagle's Nest his home away from home. Each session has increased his self-esteem, personal integrity and sound decision-making. We are so happy we found the Eagle's Nest Camp.

I grew up going to Eagle's Nest and we now send our kids there. Eagle's Nest gave me the happiest years of my childhood and now my kids LOVE it too! the staff are amazing and make sure your kids have a wonderful time, learn a lot and feel at home. The small groups and warm community provide an environment for creating lasting friendships. The programs are outstanding (arts and crafts, theatre, sports and outdoor/camping). The camp is more of a school then a simple camp. It is truly a unique place.

Best camp in the world. Its hard to explain how much this camp has changed my life over the last 6 summers. As a 10 year old going with my brother and his frind, I was some what scared, but the counselors and other campers at The Nest welcomed me into the community and made me crave coming back after each three week session. Each camper learns a new meaning of freindship, cummunity, and family when they attend camp that can only be defined by expirience. If there is any question of whether or not to go to this camp, just go, and if you dont like it then it is not for you but I will find that really hard to believe with the kind of camp Eagles Nest is. Each summer I have matured as a member of society and as a human being. This once again is the best camp that you will find.

I love Eagle's Nest. This summer will make my 10th summer with the camp, and I've loved every minute of it. The staff are wonderful, the food is delicious, and there's never a dull moment. I've made great friends, and had a wonderful time. Signing up for ENC will be one of the best decisions you will ever make.
