This camp hires too many people from foreign countries, when there are so many good people in this country who need work.

I went to Camp Lakamaga with my dad. it was mad cool there! we went on horses and we went fishing and we did archery and we got to play games. i liked it when my dad sings at the campfire cuz it was mad funny! my best staff was scooby. she was awesome! me and dad are sooo going back this year!

I worked at Camp Lakamaga this summer (07), it is great for the kids lots to do!!but i would not recomend it to future staff under the current director, many staff found her not understanding and very unfair in her decision makings!We were treated as children and not as adults!camp lakamaga has put me off working at any other summer camp!I fully agree with the person who wrote below!Also to mention descrimination against international staff!

I came to this camp with my girlscout troup. I think it probably would have been more fun if they had better facilities. There are many different "camp" sites around the area, and in the one we stayed at, they bathrooms were very dirty, spiders, and when we were there, even a few mice and rats in there.
