I’ve been coming here my entire life and i love it, it’s been the one thing i look forward to each year, i love that you can make friends and that they will last for a long time. Last year i did hurt my neck while falling off an inflatable but staff came and helped me right away, the food there is amazing and is always something to look forward to. I’ve also volunteered there and it is as equally fun, you get to interact with campers and other staff. The activities are so much fun and most of the time the people that get hurt are doing things they aren’t supposed to. The personal attention was amazing there were people that i could really count on that i could tell things with not really cabin members but summer staff care and know about you. if anyone is debating sending there kids here i 100% say you should every year is so much more fun, and it’s great if you go with friends or family.

I've been a camper, cabin leader, and even a speaker at this camp! I love it, if you want a wholesome, loving, and adventure filled camp for you're child then for sure send them to Imadene! God is put at the for-front but never forced, and the idea that we must strive for everyone to have a good time is paramount!!!! Love this camp.

My daughter went to this camp with her grade 5 and went to camp Immadene with her class. The Personal Attention was not good at all, the staff was not very good at all. The staff asked her group to climb up a wooden stage to group the children. My daughter tripped and broke her wrist while trying to break her fall. She spent the whole night and full next day with a broken wrist trying to do the activities. I, her mom, did not get a call whatsoever to let me know that my daughter had hurt herself. I would have driven there to pick her up and bring her to ememrgency. The next day, at 6:30, I picked up my daughter at school, I found out she hurt herself. I immediately brought her to emergency and she cracked her wrist really bad. She needed a cast twice, which ruined her whole summer. Don't let your children go to this camp without parental supervision. Staff is not prepared to take you to emergency if needed.

I rated the staff at Camp Immadene as Bad, due to their unsafe practices. They did not seem to care that my daughter broke her arm as soon as she got to camp with her class. She was asked to climb up a pedestal without stairs, to place class in groups. She lost her balance and fell on her outstretched hands and broke her wrist. No one of the staff listened to her crying that she was in pain, told her it was only sprained and did not have a nurse to check her. They did not bring her to see the nearest doctor, nor did they call me, her mother to come and take her to a doctor. My child broke her wrist as soon as she got there. They made her row a canoe, play ball and many other activities while she had a broken wrist. Because she was so young with no one to help her, she tried to ignore it. When she got off the bus at her school the next day, late afternoon, I took her to the hospital emergency and found out she did break her wrist. My calls were never answered. Shame on you

I was recently trying to read and find reviews for camps around the island and the reason that I didn't choose this one is actually because staff members of theirs were going and giving awful reviews to other camps in the area and giving this camp excellent reviews. One name kept popping up in my research so I went to that persons facebook page and their job was 'Cabin Leader at Camp Imadene'. I'm sure this camp is fantastic as a whole, but I really do not want my son to be counseled by someone who feels that it is okay to bash other camps to try to make theirs look better. It just seems underhanded and mean and this is the person that is going to have the most contact with my child. No thanks! Maybe check out what your staff are doing on social media a bit better!

I grew up going to this camp, and have been involved as a volunteer as well. Now that I have kids, I am so excited to send them to this camp! The staff are so attentive and supportive of each child. Despite having well over 100 campers each week, they often have even more staff than campers! GREAT FOOD! They strike a nice balance between sharing the Christian Gospel, but not forcing it on the kids and making sure each camper is cared for regardless of what they believe. And the activities are great too, especially around the beautiful private waterfront. The BMX track is great too. The only concern I have is that the outdoor bathroom facilities are not the greatest, though are kept very clean. I recommend this camp many many times each year.

I love camp imadene! It is wayy more fun then going to church for 2 botanding what they're tring hours and not even hearing or undersalking about. imadene puts god's words into language we can understand and answers all the questions we need to have answred. their activites are fun. i love imadene and i highly recommend it to any kids who want to learn more about god!
