It is very good, but since the old camp they were going to burn down we had to go to this Korean church the facility seemed run down, the sliding door fell off during the high winds, and toilets keep braking, overall, gesher is the best, and I will still continue to go there.

I have been at gesher for 9 years and I have met many friends there, people who I now call my best friends. Throughout all my years of going I have always had a blast, but lately it has not been as fun as I remember. I have entered the unit of madrachim which is for the 7th and 8th graders. I have loved being with my friends, but the overall camp is not as great. Being in madrachim comes with responsibilities, that I feel is the staff's job. We have had to work at many fun events, which does prepare us for being counselors, but has also stopped us from being campers. The themes of each day(silly sock day, hawaii day, red white and blue day and etc.) have gotten boring and have not changed at all throughout the years. I love the people I have met at gesher, just not the camp.

gesher, well about 2 years ago I commented on this camp saying it was my home it's the best place to be and other things, but this past summer that changed. my motto is its not the canp I like its the people. because that's true about this camp and that's whst pushes me to come back. Well let me explain why my opinion has changed. this pass summer (2014) i was in the "madrichim" unit. it was horrible. they were so strict with us and treated it like it was school. we would litterally sit at desks and learn for a period. and when we went on trips we were assigned groups. why can't we choose our own?? we are all in either 7th or 8th grade I think we can choose our groups at this age. aside from that they made us work. for carnival we couldn't enjoy it we had to set up all the booths, clean it up, and work the booths. then for BOKER TOV we were in charge of it, I would much rather enjoy Boker TOV cause it used to be fun. i want SCOTT to take this into consideration. thank you

Gesher stinks. The director is a tyrant, and he does not treat anyone right. Camp is okay, but over the age of 8 and there is nothing to do. Mediocre camp.

Gesher is my second home. I have best friends that I love! Gesher is a great camp! It's has great activities like all different sports(basketball, soccer, tennis, gaga, swimming twice a day ect.) and for the division galil(3rd-6th grade) there is AIR which is a bunch of cool activities like chocolate making, future fashionistas, Zumba, magic ect. For air u get to pick whatever you want. You have 2 activities in the morning with your bunk and then air and then sports, drama, cooking, art, or sculpture choice by yourself(with counselors and instructors supervising) in the afternoon. Negev(1st-2nd grade) and kinneret(pre-k-kindergarten) also have all these activites(accept air) with there groups! That's a normal day at gesher! I love this camp and recommend for your child!

Gesher is the BEST CANP EVER!!!! I've been there for 7 years (since kineret the 1st group you can be in) I will 100%be going back. There are so many great counclers and its so easy to become great friends with your counclers because everyone's SO welcoming. The kids aren't stuck up like other places. There are no bully's. it's a place where you can be yourself with out getting made fun of. The facilites are amazing AIRCONDITION! I will NEVER stop going to gesher. Gesher is my home away from home. My home with the best "parents" (counslers) "brothers/sisters" (friends) ill be at my home in less then 30 days!!! I?? gesher ??

The staff blew me away! They were so professional and enthusiastic. You can tell that everyone working there is doing what they love to do. My child had an amazing experience and wants to come back for the summer of 2012!

I've gone here for six summers from 1st-6th grades. It was the best experience I've ever had. Most of the staff were great. Scott was 'meh', but it didn't effect me. The activities were pretty good for the most part. AIR CONDITIONING! There's a travel program from 6th-8th grade, but it's terrible. Going back as an lIT this summer.

Excellent camp, very well run, lots of good activities. Not that crazy about all the trips for the older kids. My kids have gone for many years and they all want to go back

My son spent two summers here and still talks highly about the camp experience. Conselors were GREAT: mostly smart, young religious students. Food was always good and is served in an air-conditioned cafeteria. The only downside was that the main pool wasn't completed in time for the summer, so a lesser temporary pool was used. Also not much shade from the sun. Finally, it's less expensive than most other camps, so definitely a good value.

The directors Scott and Gary work well with each other and balance out the program. Scott is detail oriented and makes sure that everything goes as scheduled, and Gary is running around the camp, keeping all the kids smiling. My daughter had an amazing summer and cant wait for next year. The facilities are air conditioned and the kids are inside for rainy days and hot days (Exactly what I am looking for as a parent.) If you are looking for a Jewish camp experience and you dont want to send your kid on a bus down route 80, then this is your place.
