I love Galilean. I have been going there for twelve years as a camper and have been on staff for the past four. It is an amazing experience all children should get. We do fun activities all day. Chapel sessions are great and you are given the chance to talk to the speaker after and ask questions or debate. In the evening there is always a beautiful sunset. The food is great and the people are friendly.

GBC is the BEST! I've been going there since I was six or seven and I love it so much. I am now going to head there for my third summer on staff. There are 10 cabins (5 girls, 5 boys) a GORGEOUS waterfront, lodge, tuck shop, bookstore, summer chapel/gym, winter chapel, and wilderness camp. The staff are caring and ready to help. Chilren aged 6/7 up to 13 can go to most camps...there is also a SUPER awesome teen camp with activities such as coffee house, the iron man challenge and a "secret" game which might make you a little bit dirty, but majorly pumped. But if you're looking for a "out in the woods of Ontario" spiritual oasis, Galilean Bible Camp is the place to be. The purpose of camp is not only to have fun, but to connect with God through it. There are 2 chapel sessions per day and there is always a good effort put out to present the good news about Jesus Christ to the campers. GBC is a non-denominational camp, founded by the Canadian Sunday School Mission (CSSM). Hope to see you!

this camp is amazing! I love the religiousness of the cam and the counselors. every few days a priest comes to the camp and does a special ceremony. I definately reccommend it if your looking for great friendships and gourmet food!

I went to this camp when I was younger and meh, it waasn't bad. Not too big on the whole forcing religion down your throat thing, but I actually made a couple pretty good friends there. I wouldn't go there again, though...maybe it's better if you're uber-religious.

See Jesus Camp. Yeah...Pretty much the same thing. So unless you'd like to scare your kids to convert to Christianity, I'd avoid this camp like the plague. They won't let you be your own person. I remember having a really scary time there.

Not a bad camp if you're looking for uber-religiousness. The scenery's nice. The food is disgusting if you work for more than a week though, since they serve the same food every week. The councilors will do everything they can to band you act how they want you to. (Christian.) And there's lots of hype about being a Christian and becoming a believer. In other words, don't go there if you 1)don't like Christian stuff, 2)like fancy places, and 3)want to be your own person.
