My daughter participated in the STA camp this summer. She had a great time and we were thrilled with the experience. The staff was great; they knew how to work with kids. During the three week camp they put in a play, created scenery, and did craft activities that related to the show. I would definitely sign her up to participate in this camp again!

SHTA is an excellent value. My kids love it. The value of the program and the benefit to the children cannot be beat. Students work hard and it shows in their final performance. it is unbelievable that the kids do such a phenomenal job in just three weeks.

I have two boys 9 and 13 years old. Both have attended these camps (both summer & during the school year) for between 3 and 5 years. Teachers are great! Lots of kids and age appropriate supervision. Very convenient for us, as it is local and between my work and wife’s work. VERY affordable for three weeks of day camp! Local family business in the community. Two casts, A and B- so kids get primary part and chorus; seems fair. Even though we have gone for several years and the kids know the teachers they have not always been cast as the lead- which I am way o.k. with, sometimes it seems like regular school because they have to memorize lines, even though they have fun while there. Love to attend the final productions- one for each cast. Plays not always the ones I would choose, but I am a computer geek- I guess it’s hard to do Star Trek. I would like to have seen some more effort going into scene design and construction for the kids that did not want to do the acting or singing.
