Expensive. I am also a bit upset with the lack of focus of counselors. They rarely reported on my daughter's day, and when they did said things like "she had a good day" for thousands of dollars i expect to hear WHAT was good. most of the counselors were all grouped together and not involved in childrens' play in the beginning and end of their day. Unfortunately there is not much to say about the activities. they offer sports, mugs (just another name for sports) on two fields that are so neglected they are just dust balls. the 'archery' field is also just lackluster. you cant shoot from big lengths. the pool is big, but i dropped my daughter off once and it was SO packed with kids that i couldnt believe that it was actually a safe thing to do. Art is nice and my daughter brought home so much cool stuff, like tie die. The camp is very basic, though and not worth the money. I expected innovation, lots of different activities that were more unique. I took my daughter to Sea Camps.

I have a child w/ slight learing disabilities. I have never tried to enroll her in anything that would be overwhelming, but as soon as I advised the staff that it may be necessary for directions to be broken down when doing activities, their attitude toward my daughter changed. They tried to put her in a group of children 3 years younger which was not necessary. I signed up for and paid in advance for extra activities only to find out upon picking her up that she had not been included. I was given flimsy excuses and never received a refund for the extra activities. I've since tried other day camps and thankfully found this to not be the norm. I would never send my children to Brester Day Camp again.

This was a great camp to go to... they had lots of activities and when it was time to go home you didn't want to!

Finest day camp I've ever seen. Embodies its motto, courage, hope, good spirit and peace. Feels like an overnight camp!
