Tevya is a wonderful camp with SO much spirit, nice kids, amazing staff, and really great communication with parents. My son got to choose electives that he was interested in, go on out of camp trips, participate in sports, and swim in the gorgeous lake. More importantly, camp became his home away from home. His heart belongs at Tevya and he will often look at me out of the blue during the school year and say "I just miss camp." If you're looking for somewhere down to earth, well-run, and spirited, Tevya is the place for you!

Tevya is my daughter's second home! She asked me why can't camp be 10 months and school be 2? My daughter started going to Camp Tevya when she was going into third grade and we had signed up for one month. Two and a half weeks into camp, our daughter begged to stay for the entire summer. After a lot of thought, we decided to let her stay. Tevya's staff from counselor to administration and everyone in between are amazing. Our daughter felt very supported in every way. She had a blast participating in all of the activities, especially evening activity. As a family, we were happy with the Jewish culture she was immersed in. She has made lifelong friends!

BEST SUMMERS EVER!! This place has provided me with memories and friends that will last me a lifetime. My counselors every year were great and I miss them all and wish they would come back! Definitely recommend this camp! BTC 18

As someone who has attended Camp Tevya for many years, as a camper, CIT, and staff member, I can assure you that Camp Tevya has changed my life. The warm atmosphere and "Tevya Spirit" have provided a wonderful environment to grow up. At Tevya I have made lifelong friends and grown into a leader. The staff is well trained, highly attentive and truly wants the best for the campers. The facilities are vastly improving yet still provide a traditional camp feel. There are so many options for activities and provide the perfect opportunity for making friends. I have made friends not only my own age but younger, older, as well as counselors that I still view as role models to this day. Camp Tevya will always have a place in my heart and is a wonderful community to be a part of.

Tevya is a beautiful camp on an amazing property, offering a wide variety of activities. But to find the "best" camp for your child you need to look beyond the facilities & the activity listing & find the magic that makes camp your child's summer home away from home. Tevya has that magic. Year after year returning staff, campers & alumni will all tell you the same (in their own words of course), "I love Camp Tevya because..." my friends, traditions, sunsets & camp fires on the beach, ruach (spirit), connections, Jewish pride, simply the best experience of my life! After attending Camp Tevya myself for 12 years, it gives me such joy to have my two boys growing up and experiencing the magic of Camp Tevya that I did so many years ago.

My daughter went to beautiful Tevya last summer for her first overnight camp experience and loved it! She made many new friends who she feels know her best, learned new skills and brought home a new sense of responsibility and teamwork. I was impressed with the number of "adult" staff and the intensive staff training program before and during camp. Besides loving her fellow campers and the awesome staff, she liked the mixed assigned seating and salad bar option at meal time, the diverse electives and the observance of Shabbat (especially the singing and dancing on Friday nights). We both like how Tevya has continued to invest in itself to keep its facilities current and provide electives that are attractive to today's kids while teaching many life skills. I love how Tevya prioritizes safety and fun simultaneously while infusing the traditions of old. I will send her back with 100% confidence that she will continue to grow in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. BTC17!

My boys have been going for years and have enjoyed their summers. They've made great friends and count the days until they get to return. Many of the staff are former campers, and return summer after summer. Great Camp!

My kids absolutely love Tevya. They are never so happy as they are when they are at camp. They spend the other 45 weeks of the year talking about camp,texting with camp friends, planning their camp activities, and generally pining away for camp to start. The staff is wonderful. The range of activities and special events are amazing. The Jewish content is great. Tevya is truly helping to mold who my kids are and who they will grow up to be. I can't say enough good things about it. Highly, highly recommend!

camp tevya is a great camp where friendships are made. This camp is not as focused on sports swimming, and activities, but still the staff is great and it is almost a guarentee you will have a great time

I have been attending Camp Tevya for 6 summers and have enjoyed every summer more than the last. The staff is committed to ensuring a wonderful summer for all the campers. The activities could be improved slightly, but they do not lower the overall enjoyment of the camp. Overnight camp is truly an important part of childhood and has taught me many valuable lessons in life. Send your child to Tevya to give them the best possible summer of their lives! BTC 12

I have 2 words to say about camo tevya: LOVE IT!!! omg it is my home. my best friends are there and i <3 it sooooooooo much! Everybody is so nice and the activities are great and we are 1 big family!!! This will b my 4th year and i <3 it!!! GO BTC '14!!!

Camp Tevya is the most amazing place a person could ever go. The people i have met there are more than just friends, they are family. i went to Tevya for 9 years (8 as a camper and 1 as a CIT), and deciding to not go back was the hardest decision of my life. If you want your child to have the most memorable summers ever, send them to Camp Tevya. BTC '09 and DLD '10 forever in my heart. I will never forget this place.

If you want a camp where the staff are more concerned with hanging out and hooking up, the campers have little supervision, and the parents are lied to by the upper-admin then send your child here. This camp is basically a giant "hang out", with no structure, discipline, guidance or care.

I absolutely adore camp Tevya. It is my second home. Check out the site to find out more. I went in 2009 and pearl is GONE. (thank goodness) the evening activities and special events are the best part. On the last day everyone was crying their eyes out because they did not want to leave.

A little too much free time....over the top with silly rules. Need to get Pearl back to her old job and out of Tevya, she's so mean! Need someone like Ed back. If she'd just lighten up and leave us alone....Staff and campers truly love it and bond so well...

AMAZING! CAMP TEVYA IS MY SECOND HOME! I don't want to tell you how long I've been going to camp for but it is where I have met my closest friends, where I have learned so many important lessons and where I can't imagine my life without. I cannot wait to be working at camp again next summer.

I attended Camp Tevya for 6 years (5 as a Camper and 1 as a CIT). I enjoyed my years at camp. I decided not to go back to camp as a counselor as I saw the camp start to decline and lose interest in camp traditions. It's a great place to meet Jewish friends, and all around best friends, where I've made some of mine. But if you're looking for a place with a hard Jewish value, and good activities with a good staff dedicated to the activities they put on... might want to rethink this one.

ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AMAZING PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I love camp so much...it has given me amazing friendships and has taught me so many differeent things that i could never learn anywhere else. I have been going to this camp for 7 summers and this one will be my eighth. The people there are the closest friends i will ever make. BTC'05 i LOVE you...can wait until DLD '06 in ISRAEL ...13 days yeahh---umm and to the parent that wrote the comment there is nothing wrong with my camp

Though my son had a good time I thought this camp was pretty average across the board. The physical plant seemed solid but a little too time-worn (considering the cost of the camp). Everything about this camp was okay, not great.
