I love this camp...family run for years and years. It is not elitist. Kids have chores (not big ones--but things like feeding the pigs or gathering eggs in the morning). They sleep outside, a cover over their heads, but no side walls, and really get in touch with nature. No electricity so kids are off the grid for at least 2 weeks, a nice change from our frenetic world. Also they hire counselors from other countries so campers are exposed to diversity in culture and activities. Best place to spend a summer.

I would highly recommend Jameson Ranch Camp to any parent seeking a unique and unforgettable experience for their child. Through activities and fun chores at camp, campers are able to feel a sense of belonging and responsibility. I consider JRC my home away from home. It is at camp where I learned to be comfortable with being myself. The amazing staff at JRC creates a safe and encouraging space for campers to freely express their individuality and have a great time doing it! JRC is a place where your child can grow, learn new skills, be comfortable in their own skin, and have a super fun summer!

JRC is more than a camp, it's my second home. There is no better place to spend a summer or to send your kids. The staff are excellent and by the second or third day, everyone knows everyone else in camp. It feels like a real family. The activities and chores not only teach campers fun new skills, but they also instill life-long learnables in everyone at camp. Camp is where I learned to be responsible and independent. More importantly, Jameson Ranch Camp is where I learned that it's okay to be myself. I love this place and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a summer camp!

This camp is very strange. All of the staff are too focused on trying to "get with" each other to even bother paying attention to their campers. They try to brainwash you into thinking this place is "homey" but really it seemed a little "cult-y" to me. I would not reccomend this place to my worst enemies. It looks great online, but those pictures are not realistic representations of what goes on there.

BEST CAMP EVER! A little pricey, but toooootally worth it. I don't know anyone who's gone who hasn't enjoyed it. Best part of my summer, by far.
