Our daughter is in her 3rd summer at Evergreen & couldn't be happier. Knowing she is safe with leadership & counselors who go above & beyond to give her the best 6 weeks of every year is what keeps us coming back. We can't imagine sending her anywhere else.

Both of my children attend this Camp and could not be happier. What I love most is that this camp and its directors focus on teaching kids valuable life skills, including how to be resilient, creative and independent. I'm so glad my family and I found Kenwood & Evergreen!

I do not recommend this camp anymore! It has drastically changed over the years and is no longer the place it used to be. The facilities are below average and the food is unedible. Take the time to do the reserach and find a better option. Don't go here!

I sent my daughter here after Evergreen was recommended by a family friend. She started when she was 8 (one of the most popular ages to begin going) and she immediately loved it. She has now been going for seven years and cant get enough. The only bad thing that has happened since is that she had her final summer this past year and she can't get over it. She is already planning her years as a counselor though so we aren't worried. She talks about it 24/7. I can not think of a more warm and inviting environment for a child than camp Evergreen. She believes that it has truly made her a better person and we can't ask for anything more than that.

Camp Evergreen is the most amazing place I have ever been to. I have never felt more accepted, or at home anywhere else. I have made not only great memories there, but also best friends. Actually, they are more like sisters. My friends at camp are amazing, and it is only at this camp that you can really get that connection. After being at another sleep-away camp, you cant even compare the two. This camp is 100 times better then any other place on the earth. Not only are the people amazing, but the facilities are also beautiful. My favorite spot at camp is probably the beach, because it is just so serene and peaceful. I can personally say not one bad thing about this camp. Although this is going to be my last summer at Evergreen, I plan to be coming back as a JC, (hopefully!) and then a counselor. I wouldnt want to spend my summers anywhere else. 03216 may be some random zip code to some other people, but to me its my home. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE THIS SUMMER!!!!

There is not one bad thing I can say about Camp Evergreen. Evergreen is my favorite place on earth. The kids that go here have become my best friends in the world and I can't stand being without them. The counselors are more like friends and they are always there for their campers. Camp is a beautiful place, but the people are really what make it great. The directors stress all the things that are important: camp community, friendships, and achieving personal goals. Camp Evergreen is the best place to try new things because friends will be there to help and support you the whole time. Camp is a place where you can be carefree. There is also a great balance with the brother camp (Kenwood), which is right on the same campus. Being able to have family members at camp is great. Basically, I could go on forever about how wonderful Camp Evergreen is. I talk about it all year long and I wish I could be there right now!

Camp Evergreen is the best place ever!!! I love it!! Who ever said it was terrible was wrong.I noticed that one person said they came when they were 12 and didnt fit in. I is hard to come late because everybody has friends allready. If parents of children who are starting early are reading this,your child will love Evergreen soooo much and wont even want to go home. Evergreen is like a family.

ok let me just start out by saying that who ever did not have fun at this amazing place does not know how to have fun. Camp Evergreen is the best place on earth....i consider it my first home (and my favorite) every single counsler is soo caring and nice. The activities are soo much fun and they never get boring. I can not even begin to think how or why anybody would "insult" this camp. To the kid who wrote about the soccer incident: i can almost guarentee you that you did not wittness it. the two girls are best friends and would never meant to do it. Camp Evergreen is amazing and i think everybody should send there children here!!

We were told that everyone accepted everyone, but found it to be a very clicky place, the counselors were not helpful with bunk issues and homesickness. Head counselors were interested but it did not filter down to bunk counselors. Activities were not what were promised, way too much soccer, and land sports, barely any waterfront sports, no real swim instruction or canoeing/kayaking. not much water skiing.Art and theatre not what was expected. Camp seemed to be great for people who started there young, but really hard to fit in at 12 years old as the only new camper in the unit. Girls were unwelcoming and really clicky. my daughter was left to fend for herself though she was new and alone. Left early.

This camp was horrible. I cried the first night I came and no one, not even the counselors asked if I was okay. All the girls are really catty too. The food made me sick. I can hardly recal the activities but they were quite boring. It was my first time away from camp and I have never left home since. Also, some girls in my camp seriously injured another girl from some other camp that they were playing soccer against. Now evergreen is not welcome at that camp. Don't send your child here!

I concider camp being my second home!! Every year i can't wait until camp begins. I EVEN HAVE A COUNTDOWN IN MY ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK FOR SCHOOL!! When I go to camp I feel like i can just be free and open without people judging you all of the time. This camp has a great community that i try to see many times during the school year. Evergreen does many sports and enters a lot of torniments that are against other camps. If you sre not interested in sports you can still do many other things like arts and crafts and ceramics. You get to choose what you want to do that day so you have many options and you don't have to do the same thing over and over again. When i went to camp the first time I found that there were many new and exciting things to do. My favorite activities include waterskiing + tubing, soccer, and tennis. I am sure that anyone who goes to this camp will return summer after summer. I LOVE CAMP EVERGREEN!! P.S. 157 days until camp begins! :)

There truly is no other camp like Camp Evergreen (and our boys camp, Kenwood). The emphasis, from day one, is placed on being a good friend, and that's really what camp is all about. For a camp with a wealthy base of families, campers here really are unpretentious, accepting, and all-around great kids. The fact that the staff is overwhelmingly (probably 90%+ of general counselors) comprised of former campers speaks volumes as to the type of community Evergreen creates. I've been sitting here for ten minutes trying to think of words that can sum up the impact Evergreen has had on my life, in my 9 years as a member of the camp family, and I just can't do it. My life has been changing immeasurably by the experiences I've had at camp. The friends I've made here are more like my family than anything else, and I couldn't imagine my life without my camp friends. There is nowhere else I'd rather be for 7 weeks each summer.

CAMP EVERGREEN! Camp Evergreen is my home. Some people say that it is their second home, but for me there is no other place I would rather be. I have made my best friends at this camp who are now my sisters. I thik about camp everyday and just how much i miss it. I feel so safe at my camp. The councelors are great, the kids are great, the activities are great, JUST EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS CAMP IS GREAT! The saying i wait 10 months for 2 is extremely true. I can't wait to get back to my home and see my sisters again!

I have been going there for 5 summers and I can't get enough of camp! I count down every year until the day I return to my home away from home! Some people say that camp is their second home...I say "No it is my only home!"

Camp Evergreen is my life! Basically, it is my home away from home. The friendships that I have formed from my past 4 summers were with the best girls I've ever met. They are like sisters. Camp is filled with caring and loving people. I feel safest at camp. The 7 weeks in the year are the best weeks out of all. All of the activities are run well and the counclers make them fun. At Evergreen, there are lodges with bunks in them. The lodges are very nice and I enjoy them. While at camp, I am insured that everyone cares about me and I am never left out. In conclusion, Camp Evergreen is pretty much my life! :)

I have personally been going to Camp Evergreen for 5 summers so far. It is one of the most safest places i have ever been. I honestly feel like i can go to anyone about anything during the summer's duration. The bonds we make between the boys at Kenwood and the girls among us are unforgetable. We have the most fun you could possibly imagine. Every moment is worth writing a book about! By spending time with everyone, you learn to trust people you naturally would'nt think twice of at your hometown. At camp Evergreen, you also learn to forgive and forget, because the friendships are irreplaceable and not worth losing. The girls at home that are your friends would be considered your sisters if compared to those at camp. The weekend activities at camp are absolutely worthwhile, between Big Weekend, Hollowpallooza, Arthur Games, and of course, Color War. If you tried to explain these activities to someone who hasn't experienced the wonder, they would be dazzled. Camp Evergreen is amazing!

Camp Evergreen is my life. I have just returned from the camp's winter weekend which is special event held at camp during one weekends in january. The senior campers (oldest three age groups)are invited to come to camp and participate in a range of fun camp winter activities. I've never heard of another camp that offers such a great oppourtunity for campers who count the days till summer. This way, at the end of the summer we can say "see you in 5 months at winter weekend" as appose to ten months.I remember writing a letter home my first summer at camp when I was nine years old, saying "i Love camp, everynight I look forward to the upcoming day" That still stands true today. Camp Evergreen could not be anymore homey, it is a small camp where everyone knows everyone. I have never felt alone at camp, I know that there will always be someone to help me out when I need it, or just hang out. I have made life-long friends at camp. Moments at camp are moments I will cherish for ever.

this camp is the best camp in the world. ive been going for 7 years and this will be my 8th. ive made the best friends in the world and keep in touch a lot over the off-camp season. all of the staff are so nice and i feel so comfortable around everyone. camp evergreen has the best atmosphere- everyone is friends with everyone. going to camp is what i look foward to all year round. i start my countdown until next summer the day i get back from the previous summer. going to this camp was the best decision i ever made

I love camp Evergreen and it is so much fun to hang out in the bunk with all of my best friends! The activities are a lot of fun and the camp environment is very relaxed. There is always something to do wheather it is playing cards in the bunk or swimming and playing soccer. There are so many arts and crafts projects to do. Camp is my favorite place in the world. (it is not only a girls camp, we do activities with the boys too)
