This camp was a mixed bag for me. The food was very good and the facilities were excellent. The sabbath services and celebration were also excellent. In each of the two four week periods a trip was taken out of camp to a place that the kids enjoyed. Why not five stars then? Three reasons. The camp staff tended to play favorites. Some kids got much attention, others none. There was also too much of a Chasdic presence. They pressured the kids into learning harder. Summer camp should be fun and this took away from it. The final reason was that they didn’t make allowances for lactose intolerant people, such as myself. I sometimes had to miss a meal when there were no alternatives given.

I've been to this camp for a few years. It's a great camp, I love the sports and the food. Cool new theater last year and new Go Carts! this year can't wait to try them. Great great camp.

i have been there for 2 years and had a overall good time. not that well run but otherwise a great camp. the food is good and the camp is always adding new facilities.

You can't pick a better camp. The facilities are stunning and in great condition. Price is right and staff excellent. Apply early as it fills up in November.

OMG OMG OMG this camp is the most amzing camp you will ever go to! the staff is truly outstanding! they take a personal interest in every child to make sure that this is the summer of thier lives! the facsilities are great with AC'ed bunkhouses and a wonderful campus. The activities though are even better! from swimming to zipline to archery to mini gold to baseball to basketball and the list keeps going you will definatly never be board for a moment in a camp like this! The personal attention is what i find mote beutiful! I have gone to this camp for 5 years and i went not knowing anyone but the friendships i made i know will last a lifetime! the couselors are amazing and they take a special interest in every single child! i am still in touch with my counselor who i became very close with from 2 years ago and she is in college by now. the monetary value is also superb. for a 5 star camp like this the amount paid really amounts to nothing. Trust me no one would ever be sorry comin here

The nicest facilities out of all the camps. Football Field, AC bunks,3 Hockey Rinks, Great Food,Go Carts, Archery, all sports facilities and wonderful director

i've been there as long as "poppa" ALEX & its an AMAZING camp!
& were so0o0o0o0om lucky we have 2 p00ls, mini golfing, meat & dairy canteen, bunks w/ A/C, zipline over lake,(the list keeps on going) and awsome trips like yankees games!
did u guys ever compare that 2 dora golding 4 GIRLS?!?!?!
trust me i know the differnce my sister goes there!!!

its an amazing camp. i worked there this past summer and saw how hard they try there. the only complaint i heard from kids all summer was that there were no girls- that doesn't make it a bad CAMP, it only makes it for jews who are maybe a drop more to the right. It is still an awesome camp

For the money it costs, it is an excellent camp. However, they do have monetary restrictions, so in some places (such as comfort level, etc.) they are lacking.
