Camp ET truly is a special experience. Our daughter has been looking forward to going back for her 3rd year since school started. I spent time there every summer as a child/ teen. Very relaxed and community feel. I attended both Waldemar and ET, hands down ET was the best both as a camper and as a parent. ET is also extremely inclusive, as well as offering a special grief camp the last week of the season for children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Wohelo!

This summer camp is AMAZING!!!! I have been going there for 8 years and this will be my 9th. I'm always so excited to go to camp every year!!! The staff is fantastic and you can always count on your councilor! The facilities have just been updated so now everything is pretty new. The activities are the best part!!! They go from swimming to horseback riding! At el Tesoro, everyone is special and unique. It's a place where you can be you. You will not regret going to camp el Tesoro!

This camp is bad I went there in 2012 it feels like school your have no freedoms a the counselor are dicks you get little Time doing the activities if anyone reads this I repeat it's a waste of money! And no one cares about you

Camp is the best experince I've had, I look forward to it every year, you make new friendships that will last a life time. It is by far the best Summer Camp I have ever been to, The staff is absoultly incredible, every person comes together as a family, and everyone just feels like they can trust eachother, Its a learning experince as well as fun! Camp will always be my favortie place to ever be!

My daughter had an okay experience. I was dissapointed though when I picked her up and she had a very swollen and red eye. The counselor said nothing about it. She had gotten something in it the night before, and had scratched her cornea from rubbing it, but my daughter said the nurse and the counselor did not act concerned. My daughter was dissapointed with the length of time they got to ride horses and kayak. Also, the boys outside the girls showers asking "Who's available?" was not appreciated. She will not be back.

Yeah, some of our facilities are out of date, but we are in the process of fixing it up! The staff members truly make the camp because they truly care not only about the campers, but also about the camp itself. The special needs program is also excellent here. Plus, it's one of the cheaper camps in Texas!

This is a REAL summer camp, with a focus on traditions and helping campers grow as people. It has all the normal camp activities like canoeing, horsebackriding, fishing archery, arts and crafts, drama, hiking, outdoor cooking, etc. The staff is what sets it apart from anywhere else. Almost all of them grew up there and know how important it is to give lots of attention to campers to make sure they're having a good time. Campers learn skills in their activities as well as how to get along with and accept others. This camp is very safe and affordable. Any kids would have an amazing time.
