My favourite camp as a child, and some of my favourite memories were made there. My best friend and I LOVED having adventures in the forest, we developed close bonds with some of the horses, and did everything from making caramel corn during bonfires to playing Deer Hunter. It's just an amazing camp, gorgeous fields, friendly people, barn kittens, goats, chickens laying eggs, you name it, they have it:) What an awesome place!

Avery Hill is a Horseback riding camp. I ride there during the year and it absolutely wonderful!! THe summer camp is alright-- it kept me going for two years as a camper and three at a CIT -- they are fairly staff centred - enough for me to notice even as a camper... they pick favourites .. the riding part is amazing though.. and they have a nice small forest that is AMAZING to play games in and it's really fun to get into.. tHeres a pool that campers go in one a day for about an hour.. it's a pretty nice pool.. and they also do arts and crafts and horsemanship... It's a pretty goos CiT program.. althogh you do have to be able to jump a horse to enter it.. they don't actually train you to be A counsellor.. but thats okay-- Over all it's decent .. I would reccomend it :)
