Click to report rating    9/2/16   5     5     5     4     4   My daughter attended the intermediate session in the summer of 2016 and had an amazing experience. Whale watches, meteor showers, snorkeling, fishing, tide pools. Experiential learning in a breathtaking environment with kind and qualified staff. Highly recommend. RID: 50061

Click to report rating    6/23/12   5     4     5     5     5   My son is just off for his 3rd year at AIO. He won't go anywhere else! He loves the staff, raves about the food and learns so much. He comes home with a notebook full of info from the hands on experiments and labs they do. They spend so much time in and around the water. This is ACTIVE learning and a great summer science camp for your kid who loves the ocean and its creatures. Highly recommend it. RID: 41393
Click to report rating    11/15/11   5     5     5     5     5   This camp is literally the best experience of my life. It's fun, it's exciting, it has a great sense of community, it's gorgeous, the staff is amazing, the food is incredible, the kids are so sweet, and you get a new appreciation and love for the ocean. It's pretty much the an amazing sleepaway camp, but for people interested in marine biology or oceanography. Or even zoology actually. RID: 37276

Click to report rating    9/21/07   5     4     5     5     5   I had the best time at this camp! This past year was my 3rd time going, and I learned something new everytime. I met so many new people from all over the world. The staff were AMAZING and really helpful. The activities were a blast. This camp is great for anyone who wants a fun environmental science camp. This camp has been my favorite so far! RID: 15505
Click to report rating    7/19/07   5     5     5     5     5   I had the best 2 weeks of my LIFE at AIO! I learned so much in such a short amount of time. I wish that I could stay there the entire summer. The stuff we did there rocked and i learned so much. The staff there was cool and I want to work there when I am older. RID: 13124
Click to report rating    2/17/07   3     3     5     3     2   Best thing about it was the friends I met. I learned some about oceanography, but I wish I had learned more. It seemed a lot like a school rather than a camp. The food was AMAZING though. RID: 7906
