I may not be the most religious person on the planet, but something about her really gets you. Being at AV is the most amazing thing in the world and I really truly mean that. I am a camper there and it provides me with an excape where I not only grow up, but I learn about my faith and meet people who I will know for the rest of my life. You need to go to understand just how amazing it is and believe me some of you may think its a bunch of religious freaks but honestly it's not, it's like heaven on earth. I really consider it my home. Can't wait to go back this summer I just signed up yesterday (:

I love AV so much! Best place on this Earth! It is my home away from home. Everyone you meet there is filled with God's love. I truly wish i could live here. ?

I rarely give 5/5 on everything, but this camp is seriously awesome in almost every sense possible. Having served on staff for 3 summers, I now know there is not a single experience that could replace being an AV counselor. Missing camp this summer will be very difficult for me, but I know I will take what I learned from this awesome place we call home, and apply it in future camp and non-camp jobs. The people you meet there become more important than your family, and everyone is accepted, whether you're from deep South or from ketchup-chip-loving Canada.

This camp is definitely one of the best moments of my life. I always look forward to going back every year and I am looking forward to apply for a counselor position. Between the friendliness of staff and what everybody retreats there for -The warmth of God- it isn't a wonder that everybody brings back something. Plus, if you're looking for a time to spend with family in a safe, fun way- family camp is definitely a great way to do it. OR if you're and adult and looking to send your kids somewhere for a couple of weeks so you may retreat yourselves, it's definitely a vacation for them too. And the staff is more than qualified to make sure that they have as much fun as the next child. Most have the abilities of superheroes, they are just modest about it. ;) A few of my favourite activities there include evening program and ropes course. The ropes course teaches you cooperation skills and you truly learn to commit to yourself and your team. Overall this camp is a 100 out of ten. I love it

I love AV! It is the coolest place in the world! It is the best place for anybody to learn about their faith and to grow spirituality.
