I hated it, I hated it, I hated it! We slept in tents and the food was gross. My friends who had been there in the past told me how amazIng it was but truthfully I didn't find anything I liked about it. I feel bad reviewing it because I only stayed 2 days but that's all I could handle. I was 17 in a basic course with 13 year olds and there was no way I was doing that all summer! I just did not like the place!

Many staff there take xtreme advantage of their rank, but u've also got the very good ones who are reasonible and make it fun. I miss blackdown because of all the friends u make there, and all the funny goofy times every now again. they mainly occur while ur on the ftx around the fire. the mess food isnt bad actually, u get used to it after being a 6week cadet. its not bad -but dont eat eggs away from home. the IMP's are amazing for IMPs :). i wish the pay was a bit higher, but that will never happen. i wish i can go back again, but im joining the reserves. like i said, blackdown's fun.

black down cadet training center, yeah you have to be in cadets to attend it, i was, i went there 2 times once for 2 weeks and again for 6 weeks, you get paided to go, but its no walk in the park, you are constily working from 5:50 am to 10 pm, you get 60 dollars a week , and if your lucky maby a promotion. But it was fun, you meet alot of people , good training to. Ahh but the key is who your sgts, and WOs are, trust me i've see nthe good and the bad. um there are times when you feel like you want to go home , but stick with it you will feel amazing on that last praide, marching by your parents as they have tears of joy in there eyes =)
