I absolutely love this place! I have gone here for 4 years and it is my favorite place in the world. I think everyone should come too! The cost is a little steep but there are finacial aid options. If you like being outside, going in the water (if you want), and having a blast, come to Songa!

I love songa. Last year was my first year and everyone was so amazing. They helped me in trips, when I was homesick and I got to meet so many new things. Songa was such a different experience in a good way from my last camp. I can't wait to go back this year and learn how to portage.

My mother signed me up almost 8 years ago and I did not want to go. I hated the idea of camp and leaving for 4 long weeks. But I can honestly say i have never been happier than when I was at Songa. I switched around between the first and second session which I thought would make it harder for my to make friends since I wasn't staying with the same people but everyone is so welcoming I never had to worry. The trips can sometimes be hard but the trip food and jokes always make up for it. After 3 summers I decided I wanted to stay for the whole 8 week session. I ended up making 3 incredible best friends (while also being insanely close with practically every girl in my age group) I talked to them daily even though we live in different states and even different countries. I lived in both the cabins and the platform tents (only the older girls who've finished 8th and 9th grade live there) and both are cleaned daily and so fun to live in. Don't question coming here SIGN UP RIGHT NOW!!!

This camp is my home. Every summer, I go for eight weeks and I wish that I could go for 52. The staff are amazing and supportive, and many were campers which shows how much they love it, too.I met my best friend in the whole world there and don't know what I would do without this camp. I have learned to be a strong, independent woman there. The kitchen staff are amazing and the food they make is superb! Every day we get to choose two unique activities with our friends, or meet new people. We get loads of free time on the gorgeous, grassy lakeside campus. You can play tetherball, go for a swim, paddle a canoe, or just hang with your friends. You can write letters home, which is aa awesome relief from technology. The director, Ellen Flight, is funny and charismatic and, frankly, it is obvious she loves what she does. I will be returning for my fifth summer and CAN NOT WAIT!!!!

It'll be my eighth year going there and all 8 years it has changed my life ever since i was nine! I love every single day! i wish it didn't go by so fast. Plus the staff are sooooooo amazing!!

Songadeewin has been the world in which I have spent more than a year of my life. I say world not camp, because the term "camp" doesn't cover the experience. Whereas during the year the stresses of everyday life get in the way of being yourself, Songa enables every camper to be herself, without judgement. The fact that staff and campers come back year after year is a testament to the fact that the Songa experience is like no other. Friends and the camp activities aside, going to a place that is nearly the same as its brother camp, which has remained virtually unchanged since its foundation ver 100 years ago is incredible. My motto is that you don't know a person until you have portaged with them (carried supplies over a stretch of land during a camping trip). This necessary activity in which you cry, and you have to work together with your comrades so as to achieve a task alludes perfectly to real life. This is why Songa is the best camp, and you will not regret attending.

This is the best camp ever!!! I have been going for 7 years!!! Everyone there is amzing and the staff and so supportive. They are easy to relate to and help you out. The food is great and very fresh. This is the most amazing camp and everyone should go here!!!

As background, my daughter has gone there for years and it gets better every one. My son went to the related boy's camp, Keewaydin, for years and loved that too. Ironically, Songa sits on the same site as my old camp from the 1960s-70s. Songa is a "people" place where relationships and personal growth are paramount. Canoeing, camping and hiking are a big part of that experience, but so are theater, songs and just being girls. I could not possibly give a stronger endorsement.

Songa is so amaazing words aan't even describe it!!! I've met so many amazing people, and participated in so many different activities!! Tripping is amazing (when sunny:) and the activities rock!! Can't wait to be staff!! If you have the chance go to songa!!

I don't know what i would be like without my awesome summers at songa. Actually i do know, i would die. I sit in school wishing i could be at songa. im going for 8 weeks this year and i can assure you that every second of it will be heaven. Songadeewin is an awesome camp. Next year, the foundation is building a new dining hall, lodge, and bath house. I'm pumped! The only problems I can think of are: it's not clear what or where some the food comes and that we didn't get the spring newsletter. :( I always look forward to it! Anyways, everyone is superdeeduper cool. The staff are really nice, smart, and interesting. It's really fun once you're actually at camp. We do cool stuff, and you can do pretty much anything! I can't wait to see everyone in 15 days!!!

this is going to be my 3rd year at Songa, and for all of those people who are wondering if they will like it, well it is SO much fun. The food is suprisingly good, (except for the eggs) and the trips are awesome!!! it is a great experience and the people you meet there r so nice, and u keep them as friends forever. The staff is also a lot of fun!

this camp hmm wat can i say ITS AMAZING!! even tho we only see guys like 3 times a summer who cares like i really am in love with this camp b/c it gives u great memories and the staff are all amazing people and the trips are unbeliable you learn so much and to say to your friends that you carried a CANOE on your back/head is just like woahhhh lol and thanks for the shoutout the person gave to me lol-dakota 6 year camper!!! and after im done im soo being staff with all of my besties aka nicole ana lesley and EVERYONE ESE!!

this camp is totally AMAZING!! everyone is extremely nice and care about you. the campus is beatuful. this camp gives you a once in a life time chance to do thing you usually wouldn't do. especially camping! Songa is an extrodinary camp and should be enjoyed by all!!

OKAY let me tell you how much torture i went through for 4 years. this camp is the worst. they dont compensate for the kids who dont fit in as much I myself was not one of those kids. i just noticed it. i hated it with a firey passion. the trips were horrible, the staff was SO HORRIBLE and the food... just gets so old, if you liek to be out in the woods, and be at an all girls camp and get to see the boys um maybe 3 times a summer (not even) then SO go here, if you're into that please do go to butch camp. 80% of the staff are mean, and think they know EVERYTHING there is to know about the wilderness. They also try to get in my business, um not yours its mine so go put your head in a hole. im sorry but im not into carrying heavy things, the trips should be a choice not mandatory. ew ew ew ew. i was forced to go there for 4 years, and it was not worth it. it might have even made me this angry person i am today. THANKYOU SONGADEEWIN!! ps do not go here its butch camp. k thanks byeeeeeeee

I love this camp.Nothing is a better entertainer then songa. i dont know what i would do without it. The BEAUTIFUL lake, good friends,hard core trips.i have made so many friends from all around the country and world! it is everything you could imagine and more.i absoulutly ADORE IT! it is my pride and joy!
