Click to report rating    7/26/19   5     4     5     4     5   This is my sons 4th year at Fatima. I love the fact that it’s “rustic”. Kids nowadays are way too interested in electronics and you-tube. At Fatima, they are all playing outside making their own fun. Kids mingle and make new friends. Forces the boys to actually socialize face to face which I love. Not worried about the food because they survive. Never had a problem with any counselors. My son loves it.....bees, leeches, ticks.....and old cabins. It’s just basic fun! RID: 52768

3/11/17   5     5     5     5     5   A great place for a boy to learn to live independently in a controlled safe environment. A sports oriented camp with good waterfront facilities. The cabins are fine, remember this is summer camp not the Ritz Carlton. My son loves the place and looks forward to going back every year and has made lasting friendships with kids who he has had in his cabin. RID: 50534
Click to report rating    11/30/16   5     4     5     5     5   My son has been going to Fatima for the past seven years. He likes basic sports. They have replaced two new cabins and on their website they show pictures of redoing their baseball fields. The cost is very reasonable. He's made friends for life and as parents, we know he is in a safe place. Looking forward to next summer. RID: 50274

Click to report rating    7/8/14   4     3     5     5     5   Camp is really fun. I go there every year. my only complaints are that the cabins were a bit dirty and one of my cabin's staff was mean. If you are thinking about it you should definitley go! RID: 47552
Click to report rating    7/23/13   4     3     4     5     4   Camp Fatima is a great place. The staff is nice, the activities are fun, and the lake is refreshing. I just finished my 4th year, and i cant imagine not going again. Go North! RID: 45317
Click to report rating    7/15/13   2     1     1     1     3   This is a very old fashioned summer camp where kids are parked for weeks at a time with the goal of them being "anywhere but home". There is no purpose or objective to the time spent here. With a decaying infrastructure (including poor counselor training), it offers nothing to kids who want to experience interesting, challenging activities. The fact that it is very affordable is reflected in the facilities being sub-par, the food poor, the cabins filthy, including disgusting plumbing issues, and there being no educational opportunities or day trips to nearby locations of interest. This camp is under-funded and has not evolved over the years. If you want your child to have a great summer camp experience, look elsewhere. If you are looking to get rid of them for the least amount of money regardless of the poor condition of the camp, this is the place for you. RID: 45184
Click to report rating    6/27/13   5     3     5     5     5   I go here every year (accually leaving to go next Sunday!) and I absolutely live it. My only complaint is that the cabins are a little dirty, dupable but no great and also the food isnt great. Otherwise amazing camp. $1000 for 2 weeks. Competing with ITTC its $2000 for 1 week!!! Click to report rating    6/19/13   4     5     5     4     5   My son has been going to Camp Fatima for the past five summers. He enjoys the wide range of activities. There is a nice beach waterfront even though he does not like to swim. He enjoys archery and BB's and tells me how much he loves tetherball. The staff knows his name and interacts with him right after he gets dropped off. He wants to go for six weeks this summer. Good times. RID: 44817
7/5/11   1     4     5     1     2   Huge mistake. The 'adults' (not the counselors, but the men in charge) are arbitrary and surprisingly unkind to young people. We have nothing but regrets, after speaking with the Director and listening to him speak so negatively about his own boys (both of whom he has kept employed there). There are many fine camps in the northeast, though often a bit more expensive. But, you get what you pay for. It is with the greatest regret and the heavy-heart of a mother who trusted the wrong people and saw her child emotionally wounded that I say, "AVOID Camp Fatima to save your child grief!" As Catholics ourselves, we are terribly disappointed and ashamed that they call themselves a faith-based facility. Not a good representation of the Catholic Church. We wish we'd had warning... Click to report rating    6/16/11   1     1     3     1     1   I went to this camp for four years and I have to say it sucked. The activities were good but people were too intense. The food tasted horrible and the lake had a lot of snapping turtles. RID: 36128

Click to report rating    1/24/07   5     4     5     4     5   Camp Fatima was the best four years of my life. Between 5th and 8th grade, I rose the ranks from Jrs. to Ints to (my final year) first year Srs... this camp has it all. Awesome campers, mix of american/international staff (OY, TIM FROM AUSTRALIA! :) ) Love Camp Fatima, and will never forget it. RID: 7153
