My 9 year old son just came home from JRF and he absolutely loved it. The only downside was that he was very upset to leave!! We are counting down the days until June 28 2015.

This will be my third here at JRF and i have loved every second! I met an amazing friend there, and they have great Jewish value activities! their staff is super fun and don't make us feel like little kids. They have great cabins and really good food. I love it there!

My oldest child attended this camp the first year that they were in the Poconos and had an amazing time with Rabbi Jeff. When my daughter attended last summer it seemed like the directors did not care about my child at all when I had a problem. The facilities had hardly been updated since the first time I had been there and the cabins bathroom was filthy. She loved her counselor but was yelled at my one of the female directors. Go elsewhere

I went here for a year and totally hated it! It's so dumb and no one is nice to you. I wish I hadn't spent a single summer here. THE NEXT YEAR I WENT TO PINEMERE CAMP AND IT'S SO MUCH BETTER! Everybody knows your name there and it's so awesome. If you even like JRF you'll be in LOVE with Pinemere! Everyone go there!!

My son has been attending Camp JRF for 4 years and loves it. He finds everyone to be incredibly friendly and the Jewish values help to promote a tight bond between campers. Even when he has been blocked out of his first choice of activities, or ended up bunking with none of his friends from prior years, he has been enthusiastic and positive about his experiences. The swimming test is challenging but my son felt that when he finally achieved an advanced level, the instructor taught them advanced strokes and he loved the challenge. He also loves the food there, even though we do not keep a kosher home. This year he wants to go for the full summer (he never wanted to go for longer than the 2-1/2 week session before.

This camp is so much fun. Pretty much all of the campers and counselors are extremley friendly. The way they teach Jewish values in a fun way is phenomenol. I am a camper who has been here for two years, I wish I could have known about it earlier. If you are Jewish (mainly Reconstructionist but all forms are welcome) and are thinking of going here, go, this camp is an experience you will never forget.

I do not like this camp. I went for 3 years and overall I have had a poor experience.

Both of my children had a wonderful time in 2009 - so much so that they have been counting down the days until they return for their second JRF experience.

Camp JRF is an incredible place to spend a summer. I would know becasue 2009 will be my fifth year at camp and my second year on staff. I cant say for certain what draws me back but I always end up counting down the days until the next summer. Camp JRF has given me 3 great years as a camper, life long friends, and an amazing way to spend my summers. I am proud to say I am a part of JRF

Phenomenal camp. Only complaint was a shortage of activities, but the camp is very young, so new activities should emerge in the next few years. Everyone is very nice.

Fantastic camp for Jewish kids. Beautiful campsite with top notch facitilies kept in terrific condition; Staff is very well trained and supervised - they are creative, caring and good role models for the campers. Full spectrum of activities. Excellent staff-camper ratio. This is a fairly new camp ((7 seasons old; 2008 is 3rd season at this site) with lots of returning staff and campers who have grown up to become staff - a sign of a good camp; Good value for the money and financial assistance is available.
