This is for swim camp 2016. Nice facilities, esp the pool, but the children are essentially left to their own devices all day. They wait around in the gym after check-in till after 10 am. They then walk as a large group to a local playground some blocks away, where the children are restricted to a single play structure for 2-2.5 hrs. This is entirely open play--no interaction with the counselors or activities. They then had a 30 min swim lesson, book-ended by 30-45 minutes for changing and pool arrival. After swim, they are kept in a room for more indoor unstructured play time (largely without direction from counselors or activities). During a 2 week period, they had one field trip, but spent the entire morning till after lunch in a single room without any structure or activity. They also had one additional special event day on the schedule that didn't happen. In short, for 2 wks of camp, my son had 7 30 min sessions of swim and countless hours of sitting around, no enrichment.

This is my initial impression of the swim camp 2013. Good facilities, poorly organized administration, poor training of cranky counselors. The scheduled activities looked promising, but my kids said they didn't do the activities listed. Two years ago, our daughter had a great time here, this could just be a rocky start: I look forward to updating with a positive review.

This will be my daughter's 3rd summer. NYC's best value, caring staff, well run, make the most of the city's asphalt in the summertime when not inside.

This camp is so good!It is one of the best camps in Manhattan!The activites and staff are great. The swimming pool is so nice and clean.It is located in a googd location.I really enjoyed going. I would recommend it to every one. It is so good!!!!
