I went to this camp twice. Both times i went with a friend and both times we ended up with only one other camper in our group. When we left the main camp the second year and started on trail, I began to realize that my counselor didn't like me that much and it wasn't just in my head because the other girls noticed it too. Needless to say I got very lonely being out in the middle of nowhere. After that trip i decided to look for other camps. You should know about me: I'm a fairly outgoing person, i don't usually get homesick, and I was about 13 and 14 when I went. If you are a fairly independent person, I would recommend Menogyn. The base camp has a lovely atmosphere and most of the other counselors seemed really fun too. I guess it just wasn't for me but I think if you get a good counselor and a larger group it could be a great experience.

Most amazing camp I've ever been to. The counselors are all so caring and fun.They truly love what they do and the friendships you make there will last forever. By the time you finish the trip you'll feel so accomplished and rock star awesome. I can't wait I'm going back in a month and I'm soooooo excited!!!!

Soild camp, there trips are so uniqu and I learned so much about myself for the summers I went. The staff are exceptional. If you decide to go make sure to apply in Jan. because their trips are so popular they have a lottery for the trips.

Menogyn was a total turning point for me, even if i have only spent one week there! this place is absolutely incredible! GO THERE OR BE SQUARE!

Menogyn has certainly been a life-changing experience for me. I look forward to improving myself and creating lifetime bonds and memories this summer; my group of eight is going to the Back River in Nunavut, Canada for 40 days.

Simply put, nothing you ever are even remotely likely to do will ever approach what you do at Menogyn. It's mind-bogglingly better than any other camp could hope to be. Everyone who works there, in-camp or out, is exceedingly competent at what they do. Don't let the relaxed atmosphere fool you. It's just because everyone is having so much fun. You'll realize after you've done the hardest thing in your life to date that you could do it again tomorrow with ease.

This is the best camp I have EVER been too!!! I will send my own kids there and my kids will be sending their kids as well!
