tbh before I went here I did not want to go, I stayed for 2 weeks and I had a fairly fun time, my favorite is that they take u to a waterpark! The cabins don't have much in them just cots and a porch, that's all. But I loved the most of campers and my new friends. The worst part is that mostly during the weekends u stand in church for upwards up to 2.5 hours! Overall if you are a first timer I recommend u go here, and no Russian is not spoken completely, mostly English!!

Beatings? Swearing? Waking in the middle of the night? Forced to do whatever those in charge want you to do? The ones in charge are whoever is older and half the time don't even care about the well-being. Power-happiness everywhere. Abuse. I witnessed a 17 year old punch a 9 year old in the face because he blinked while standing in line... yeah. How can you call yourself Christian after this camp? The adults are completely blind to everything thatactually goes on there. The sleeping conditions are unsanitary, the bathrooms are home to many disgusting bugs and spiders. Theft is common. And after all that you call yourself a ****ing Christian camp with very nice little "choir-boys" and "loving people"? Family? People literally COLLAPSED IN CHURCH from hunger, thirst, and fatigue. Stay AWAY! Far away! This is BOOT CAMP. If you don't want your kids to return crying, join the USA Boy scouts. Please don't send your kids here - it's not the "religious" experience you want them to have.

I've been with this camp for 10 years. It's been a wonderful experience and I consider everyone there my second family. The relationships are made to last. The activities you do here are unlike any other camp.

ORPR Is the Best Russian Orthodox Youth camp U.S. , and If you are ages 8-16 and Russian Orthodox, I highly recomend going.

This camp has been my life for the past thirteen years. I love it with all my heart. I hope that future generations can learn from mine how to keep this place going with everything that we have taught them. Love all my fellow campers. MUAH!!

This camp sounds terrible unless you've been there. You cry the first week cuz you want to go home, but by the fourth week you are crying because you dont want to leave. It is an amazing experience
