This camp is run by the city of markham. I have sent my children here for the past two years and have been extremely impressed with the quality. I read the reports about the previous incident that occurred here and it seems to me that the camp has totally revamped itself. The high ropes, canoeing, and archery prove to be some of the best activities for my kids that challenge them to do something a little bit out of their comfort zone. Overall, this camp is wonderful if you live in the are.

I would never send my child to Camp Chimo again! The dares and challenges that were played as part of a game in the voyageur program got out of control and the counsellors who suggested playing this game and who made up the majority of the dares should have been fired on the spot for their extreme poor judgement. The Town of Markham also exercised poor judgement by not terminating the individuals involved and allowing them to continue to supervise children. NEVER AGAIN!

The camp is really fun except for the disgusting porta-potties. I recommend this camp to people who like the outdoors.

It's a good camp 'cause you get to go on a overnight trip and you meet new people. They have alot of new and fun things to try that are all safe. I went there summer of '07 and because of that I've met someone special that I'm with now.

The washrooms were all porty-potties; camp staff always made our group board the bus last, and even so, we had to wait for an hour when our bus arrived for some reason so we were forced to stay out in the sun, and BURN AND DIIIIIEEEE!!!

This camp is sooooo mcuh funn, especailly for voyagers...we get to do the best stuff and and go on overnights and all that kinda stuff. We got to put burrs in someones beard, tire rolling, make a gondala IT IS AWESOME!!

You get to tie counsellors up and throw them in a river. So much to do too!!!

I thought it was a great camp!The counsellers were awesome and great activites. (i liked archery the most.)I recomend this camp to kids and teens who like the outdoors!but it could use more porta potties
