Click to report rating    3/1/07   5     5     5     5     5   This is a 4 year program in which kids from grade 6/7 are given the opportunity to go to camp 1 weekend EVERY month and 10 days during the summer. The councellors are FANTASTIC,facilities are 2nd to none, great food and is also accredited with being recognized as a private school so kids can earn highschool credits. They also show these kids that even though they may not have had great opportunities to attend a camp due to $ or travelling woes(they actually pick up campers & drop them off at a couple differernt locations)teh cost is very low($100 per year)and the 20 kids that attend each session are together for each year they are there-they do ask the kids for a full 4 year committment,so these kids "grow up"together. Its a very interesting web site and tells alot about what they do and what they offer,so please check it out.As a mom of a participant who did the 4 years I can say it was probably one of my childs best learning experiences.
