BEST PLACE YOU WILL EVER GO IN YOUT ENTIRE LIFE!! great staff that cares about you and makes your experience great! Have tons of choices for activities and are all amazing with great staff. Everyone cares for eachother and thr only besr part IS leaving. BEST CAMP EVER

Best camp ever! I have been going for 6 years now and I love this camp so much! If I wasn't able to go one year I would literally die because I love this place so much. It is my home away from home and these friends that I have made here are my best friends ever and nobody can compare to them!

Going to Capital Camps has been the best decision my parents have ever made. This will be my 10th summer and I wouldn't trade any of them for anything in the whole world. I have made my best friends and the best memories at Capital Camps. I have made such special bonds with the councilors, and many of them have made a huge impact on my everyday life. This camp teaches you about your jewish identity in a not very religious way which is perfect to find out how you want to express your religious preferences. When im not at camp all im doing is counting down the days till camp. Camp has made me a better person and it truly is the place I consider home

Recent changes in management and churn at the Director level have changes this place less desirable. Much more heavy emphasis on selling out all the spots and raising funds from campers families. Disappointed mine will be going elsewhere (four year family multiple kids).

Capital Camps is truly my home away from home. The counselors here are the most caring, energetic, fun, and hilarious people you will ever meet and my 5 summers here could never be the same without them. The campers here are my best friends in the whole world. I don't know what I would do without them. Camp is very expensive, but it is totally worth it! The facilities are really nice because it is also a retreat center during the year, but over the summer it really does feel like camp! One really nice thing that camp has is an Atzmaim (special needs) program, which is really nice. It gives the special needs camper the camp experience, and they get to be in the same cabin as the other campers and it's really fun for everyone. The Jewish aspect of camp is truly unbelievable. For many kids (like me) being Jewish wasn't particularly exciting, but CCRC really turned that feeling around. I absolutely LOVE camp!!!

This place is a frickin' hotel. Camp is supposed to be an outdorsey experince. Also no staff speak English. All the kids are snobby ****es and jerks. The entire time a kid was bullying me and when I treied to speak to my counsler, he just said, "??????" It's too organized and if you skip one little activity, you're in deep do do. Overall, I hated this camp and anyone with a brain will to.

I am a new staff member to Capital Camps. I am absolutely in love with this camp. I have never met a group of such nice, laid back staff members as I did here. The camp directors truly care for the success of their campers and are great to work with. The activities here provide opportunities for all campers. Also, Capital Camps has 3 camp social workers on site. This is a great opportunity for campers and staff alike. The camp truly cares about people's well-being and the Jewish aspects are incredible. I could not have asked for a better camp to work at this summer. Thanks Capital Camps!

I do not know the new director because I worked here around '05, but at that time, this camp was great! Clean facility!! Quality program. Great kids and staff. Excellent. I have since worked at other camps and none compare to my experience in '05 at this camp. It was a great experience!!!

The worst summer experience ever. It used to be good, but not since all the fancy stuff came. Its not camp anymore and the kids have gotten sooo snobby. If you want to go to a retreat w/ snobs and no freedom go here, if you want to have a great summer, I strongly suggest that you go somewhere else.

this camp is amazing al of the activites are awesome. everything has just been redone and its soo cool. you get so much more freedom as you get older and anyone who thinks it sux is seriously senile. the only thing thats kinda annoying is that the counslours can be kinda annoying and hard to understand. you dont really even notice the religious part its fun. there is like 2 service a week and thats it . i love this camp and it rocks. im gonna go for such a a long long long long long long long long long long long long time!!!! all the directors are so funny. i love the theme dinners and the huge fan in the dining hall.. its nice a cold in there =]one of my favorite parts is the trip its so cool they even give you 10 dollars to spend [but i advise you bring a little extra cash]. its a cool camp to go to. it has like all the stuff that makes it a little less outdorsy so its nice! the lake toys adn the water slides are soss cool. the blob rocks! you even get to pick some of you

Our son went to this camp this past summer, and...after not writing us...was clear when he came home that it was awesome, he wanted to go back, and it was the best experience of his life. I see with surprise that this is so far only the second rating for this camp, and that the first one is poor. Fortunately, local word of mouth has been good. I can recommend very positively.
