Click to report rating    4/28/15   2     3     4     1     2   I've had 4 children attend this camp over the past 10 years. They've all loved it. I have however noticed that the camp isn't what it used to be. At one point 5-8 years ago, the staff were fantastic. Very engaging, caring and knowledgable. The past few years have been mediocre. My son's camp leader was really miserable with the kids. My youngest 2 are still interested in camp but we are going to another local camp this summer. RID: 48622
Click to report rating    2/2/15   5     4     5     5     5   My 5 year old was very apprehensive about going to a full week of camp, but RBG, in their usual fashion, made him at home. He loved being outdoors, canoeing, and looked forward to the daily hikes and lessons. He preferred to this other expensive camps we put him in last summer. The staff are great and nice to see a camp that allows kids to get outdoors and have fun! RID: 48357
Click to report rating    7/3/14   1     3     3     1     1   My son attended the 6-7 year old program at RBG. As he was finishing lunch, a child (ALEX) walked up to his chair and punched him in the mouth. Initially, I indicated that my son would not be going back the next day. After some thought I called them back to say I would like my son to attend the next day but the child hitting needs to be removed. I indicated that the leaders mentioned they had issues with Alex during the week and that since this is a paid program, they should remove the child putting other kids at risk. JASON the organizer indicated that is not their practice. I ended my conversation with JASON, thanking him for protecting the bully and putting other kids at risk of getting hit. NEVER AGAIN!!! How this program has dealt with this is unacceptable. RID: 47513
Click to report rating    7/24/13   5     1     1     1     5   My daughter went to this camp and seemed to be enslaved. She was put to work on an assembly line making VCR's for walmart. RID: 45339
Click to report rating    11/15/07   5     5     5     4     5   My son who is 5 and has mild ADHD, and was ranked 98th percentile in intelligence, can't get enough. He LOVED the "BUG" theme camp this past summer. We have sent him there 2 years in a row, and fully expect to continue till he outgrows it. RID: 17086
Click to report rating    6/10/07   5     5     5     5     5   My kids have gone for the odd day at their Xmas break and March Break camps, as well as a couple of weeks the last couple of summers, and always want to go back. Kids need to spend time outdoors learning about nature, and they do a great job. RID: 11812
