I spent two years at Evelyn, and I didn't LOVE it but i liked it! The activities are fun, but you don't get much free time. I love all the singing camp songs, and the all camp fires, and Crystal Lake trips, and the polar bear swims! The facilities are pretty good, awesome pool and rustic dining hall. I haven't been there in a few years so I'm not sure how it's changed. Personally I like coed camps better, but there's definately pros to having all-girls camp too!

The counselors are too strict, and you never get to do what you want to, you always have to do whatever they tell you. The food and the pool are pretty good though. And T-line is like WAY far away from everything, and what kind of camp has girls walk 30 minutes to get to their tent??? Yeah.
GO TO ANOKIJIG!!! It's like a few miles away from Evelyn, and it's supah amaaaazing!

i HATE Camp Evelyn!! the people there were always TOO happy and sing songy. we could only eat at meal times and we had to sleep in these REALLY old and groos tents. SICK!!

I rated this camp 5 out of 5 because it is a beautiful place where every girl can fit in, learn about herself, become comfortabel with nature and trying new things without feeling pressured to do so, and have the best time of her life.

There have been a few changes in the last few years but Camp Evelyn has a strong background. The five units are terrific and the camp is known for its water activities since they have a pool, river and lake. The girls love camp!
