Camp whispering oaks is definitely different from Winacka, but it is awesome in its own way. It gives me a warm fluffy feeling in my soul. The tight knit atmosphere and the specialized program makes cwo an amazing place for first time and returning campers.

Whispering Oaks was okay but it felt more like a hotel stay with bland food and boring activites than a camp. The good counselors were really good, but the bad counselors were really, really bad. Fine but not great.

I love whispering oaks i just got back from camp there and even though I love winacka, whispering oaks will always be special to me. it is more tight-knit and the staff and activities were amazing. I miss camp already...

This camp is a wonderful experience. It was personally my first overnight camp away from home! I've been a Girl Scout for over 8 years now and Whispering Oaks is by far my favorite. Winacka is more rustic. Although they have a pool at Winacka, compared to all the activities (ie, hikes, basketball, theatre, field, archery) it wasn't missed. A piece of my heart will always be at Whispering Oaks! LOVEEEEEE IT!

I enjoied going this camp as a camper. Its modern comparing it to it's sister Camp Winacka. Most of the programs are more Perforning Arts and Sports oriented. I love WOPC now CWO!
