My daughter attended the camp in Vermont the summer of 2014. She was 11 and it was her first sleep away camp so we opted for 1 week. She begged us to stay for the remaining weeks! She truly enjoyed the other girls, the instructors, and the facility. She feels her dance skills have definitely improved. Everything was top notch from the food, the activities, and the professional instructors. Shannon is on top of everything! She is very responsive to any questions you have or any issues that might arise that she needs to make you aware of with your child. We have signed our daughter up for 4 weeks in 2015! Excellent job ADTC, keep up the great work!

This was our daughter's first overnight camp and she had an AMAZING time. The Director, Counselors, and Teachers were fantastic and helped our daughter's dancing as well as made it an "over-the-top" experience. 3 months after getting home she was STILL talking about it..."

The communication and customer service is impeccable, professional and very friendly. My daughter LOVED the staff and her new friends. (She went alone and made friends there.) The values that ADTC seems to embrace are the same ones we adhere to in my family -- caring, integrity, compassion, fun. We would definitely recommend it to our friends!

My daughter had a wonderful time at camp. She made new friends, learned new moves and soaked up some warm summer heat! She keeps pushing to go back next and try the travel camp or stay for 2 weeks. She said that on the plane she was doing the world African dance! Thank you ADTC for this great experience that my daughter has and will hold onto forever! Until next year!

"I would recommend this to anyone. I was very hesitant because I had read some bad reviews. I don't know what those people were talking about. I have already yelped what an excellent camp experience this was. If I can put the word out anywhere else, I would be happy to. My only concern is that she has high expectations now for next year. I hope she has the same wonderful experience year after year."

“Katie was a fabulous counselor and it was clear that the director really knew how to run a camp and seemed to be organized, professional and had stronger communications skills. The activities were clearly her favorite, (Bromley, kayaking, beach). She also really enjoyed the Broadway Jazz.”
“Strong dance focused program, combined with the camp activities had a nice balance. The counselors were strong and most had previous experience at the camp. The Friday night show was a lot of fun as was the awards ceremony.”

I really wanted to like this camp and have my daughter attend on an annual basis. Unfortunately, our first experience was so bad that we will never return. The ADTC website stresses 24/7 supervision and zero tolerance for bullying. That was NOT the case. My 10 year old daughter was unsupervised at night after curfew and was continually bullied by a roommate. My daughter told me that each night at 10PM their counselor left her and her four 10 year old roommates alone in a hotel room. The lack of supervision enabled an older camper to run away. My daughter was bullied verbally by a roommate all day which was reported to the counselor and was viewed by the counselor. No action was taken by the counselor or the camp. The bullying escalated to her almost being drowned by the bully because the counselor was not watching the pool as she was lounging in the hot spa. I communicated this experience to the ADTC owner and she informed me that 24/7 supervision doesn't mean "handholding."
