My son has gone to Burn Brae since he turned 4, he's 8 now. Counselors are are accredited teachers talented and fun. He learned to swim (at 4) rocketry, rock n roll, plays in the band, made friends, safe, welcoming environment, they accommodate his SN- we love it!

Do not waste your money. This camp is run very poor. They advertise lots of things but do not do what they say. In two weeks, my 14 year old daughter decorated one cup cake, did one art work and learnt to play two songs on ukulele (which she was playing before going to the camp). She wanted to stop going after 2 days.

The camp provides a wonderful environment for kids to play in the arts. I say play because many students aren't all that serious about or experienced in their majors, so level of performance isn't very high sometimes. Nevertheless, there's more substance here than in most camps because of the availability of creative arts training in music, theater, crafts, computer, circus arts, even anime this year.

I went to burn brae for 11 years. Some of them I worked there. I loved it so much. I took theater and had so many better teachers than Dawn. She really didn't know how to teach theater. I also took art and musical theater. Some of the staff can be rude and mean but your going to get that wherever you go. The bathrooms suck. use the ones in the house if you have too. The pre-major program is great and really helps pre-school/ kindergarten age kids grow and learn.

Fun but if you go, you'd REALLY like theater. We had the BEST person ever. She retired, and the same year she retired, I quit. If you go, don't go for a long time, it just gets boring when you get older. Most of the staff is really nice. Some are mean, but just steer clear of them.

First i know this camp like the back of my had. I have been there for ever and i now work there. I love it dearly. Oh and Dawn was the worst she can't teach theater. There were much better teachers than her, she should have stayed in the office (yes she had an office job at the camp befor theater)!

it was a pretty fun camp. but once i started to get older; it kinda bored me. i don't think i really liked the camp as much as my friends that i made at the camp. but one thing i can accredit to burn brae is my acting skills. the director [[dawn]] was AMAZiNG and she always had faith in me and my acting abilities. i've now been cast as the lead in a BUNCH of shows all thanks to her. overall; burn brae was pretty cool. except. lisa kinda annoyed me with her blowhorn. haha.
