The staff is very friendly and well trained. They are focused on providing a safe, fun time for scouts. The dining hall is state of the art and rifle/archery ranges are very well run. The focus is on safety. There are also two excellent climbing walls. The one for Cubs is challenging but not overwhelming. The larger tower is very hard and challenging, but also rewarding when you reach the top! I would recommend this camp to any scout who wants a fun time with excellent staff. The camp is large but not so large you get lost of have a hard time going from place to place. We love it!

A very good value for a traditional BSA camp that is close, but not to close to home for many units. Energetic, young staff that is making program improvements yearly. Active Council/volunteer group making many facility improvements also. The 50' climbing and rappelling tower is an especially awesome experience.

The staff was the best in a long while. There was something different this past year and I believe it was because of the preparation done by the Program Director. I have attended the camp as a leader for seven years. The camp did appear to be run down this past year due to the flood that occered in the area. Maintenance crew did a great job with maintaining what they could. I have always called this camp "Wisconsin's best kept secret." I would recommend this camp for any unit to attend. Believe me you will not be disappointed.

The staff seemed more interested in themselves than our Scouts. The camp itself appears run down, buildings didn't look like they had been cleaned in a while. Couldn't use the river due to the flooding in the region- the Council did warn us of this, which was nice. Program would have been better if the Staff at least pretended to enjoy their job. Seemed like they were sitting around a lot joking amongst themselves. Scouts had fun but we will probably try another camp next year.
