Camp Pendalouan has been an important part of my growing up. I attended the camp for 9 years in a row and was a counselor in training for another year. It was essential part of my growing up. The counselors are amazing role models and really do put the kids first. The four core values of the YMCA (honesty, responsibility, respect, and caring) are really embodied in the staff. Most of all, the kids really do have fun! In a fast-paced world of computers and television, it is so important for kids to get back to the outdoors, and Camp Pendalouan offers that opportunity and more. What a great place to send your children

Awesome!!! They were really nice and we had a lot of funny moments. The cabins are slightly empty but it gave you warmth.

This camp is GREAT ! The staff are all kind, they all are nice and pay good attention to the campers. All about kids first for sure, and 4 core values !!!

This is an excellent Y Camp living the tradition of American summer camping. Its emphasis on nature, community, reverence, and good times secures its place as one of Michigan's best camps. At Pendalouan, children can experience the best parts of childhood, growing up, and adolescence. They'll learn about themselves as they interact with new friends and the outdoors. Diverse communities encounter one another at Pendalouan where they get the chance to learn about one another and engage in dialog about the trials and tribulations of growing up, across cultures. A great camp that can change lives for the better and build better people.

In my experience, Camp Pendalouan is a fabulous camp. My sisters had attended other camps before Pendalouan, however, they refused to go to any other camp after this one. The staff is clearly dedicated to working with children in an incredibly positive and safe way. The high ropes course, climbing wall, Sleepy Hollow Hike, horse barn, and special day are unforgettable. There are many other camps in the same area, however, everything I've seen and heard tells me that Camp Pendalouan is the best one.
